I told the girl that she should show him respect, because it's good to grow up with strong friends who 'have your back'. The next time I saw him he was standing his ground and having lots of that good old 'rough & tumble' fun with a group of other young lads. It made my day! I admire masculinity :o)

Unfortunately that is the exact reason why he probably gets bullied. Bullies usually come from troubled homes and inherit a lot of generational trauma. They tend to take it out on kids from stable homes.

I would disagree, I would say I deserved to get bullied when I did, because I needed to toughen up. The year I got bullied changed me, and I became a stronger person because of it.
I was bullied when I was a kid and that wasn't fun. Most of the kids that are bullied are very sensitive and choose not to comply with the agressive behavioral norms of kids groups at school.
Nobody deserves it no, but for alot of people its necessary for character building. People who survived and thrived through bullying tend to have the best personalities and characters. Finding that comfort in your on skin really makes people.

I recommend learning a martial art. I did when I was bullied, and after I almost broke his nose(I learned taekwondo) I wasn’t bullied again. But a warning, it takes years to get good at one martial art. I started in 1st grade before I was bullied and the thing I was talking about was in 9th grade.

It's the fact that he ran to his parents as soon as he saw the puppy to thank them. Omg it did something to my heart, he didn't just stand there and cry. His first thought was to thank his parents rather than think "omg a puppy! I finally got what I wanted!" Cutest kid ever. And he didn't run to the gift to open it when he saw it, he just stood and waited.

My worst years...10 and 11 grade. The only person in the world I can say I hate is a girl in those years of my life. She has now been divorced twice. Changed religions 3 times. Been abused by a spouse. I feel sorry for her. She was not a happy person.

I was bullied when I was a kid and that wasn't fun. Most of the kids that are bullied are very sensitive and choose not to comply with the agressive behavioral norms of kids groups at school.
Nobody deserves it no, but for alot of people its necessary for character building. People who survived and thrived through bullying tend to have the best personalities and characters. Finding that comfort in your on skin really makes people.

I recommend learning a martial art. I did when I was bullied, and after I almost broke his nose(I learned taekwondo) I wasn’t bullied again. But a warning, it takes years to get good at one martial art. I started in 1st grade before I was bullied and the thing I was talking about was in 9th grade.

It's the fact that he ran to his parents as soon as he saw the puppy to thank them. Omg it did something to my heart, he didn't just stand there and cry. His first thought was to thank his parents rather than think "omg a puppy! I finally got what I wanted!" Cutest kid ever. And he didn't run to the gift to open it when he saw it, he just stood and waited.

My worst years...10 and 11 grade. The only person in the world I can say I hate is a girl in those years of my life. She has now been divorced twice. Changed religions 3 times. Been abused by a spouse. I feel sorry for her. She was not a happy person.
