- R&B singer R. Kelly will appear in federal court in Brooklyn court next month to face new sex crime charges. Federal prosecutors in Illinois and New York have charged the musician with a combined 18 counts including child pornography. Kelly is accused of sexually exploiting women and girls over more than two decades. He has denied all allegations. Kelly is being held in a Chicago jail without bond. His crisis manager, Darrell Johnson, joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss Kelly’s mental state and whether or not he believes he will be acquitted.

I really like this guy. I find him to be extremely professional and sympathetic to the issues at hand. He takes his time to speak to the Savages even though they bombarded his press conference. He answers questions honestly, even though it may not make his client look better. Darrell is there to do a job and he does his job. Lying is not a part of his job and I for one, am glad he is not up there lying. Would you leave your child with R Kelly? Are you completely nuts? I love how he answered that question and I fully support this man.

He would be disbarred because the crisis managers statements of honesty infers that R.Kelly is guilty of the crimes he is being accused of. An attorneys job is to maintain the secrets and to stear away from questions that paint the client in a bad light. He didn't do this, probably why he resigned or was most likely asked by R. Kelly's attorney to step down. I appreciate his honesty as well. I believe R. Kelly is guilty and should be held accountable for his actions. But as most of the comments reflect, the crisis manager made it worst for R.Kelly. I'm sure you are aware he resigned right after interview.

That's what I think this is all a money and fame grab. How could you be dangerously held against your will as in (kidnapped) but allowed to freely go shopping and on outings with your kidnapper but not once make a break away and contact the nearest police to let them know that you're being held against your will by someone???
