Back in 2015, the Unholy Quartet sort of announced a "secret project" during one of our livestreams. Three years later you finally get to hear it: Gigareol Remix Party, coming out never 'cuz we got too busy to finish it HAHAHAHHAA
SO yeah I've had this cover sitting in my hard drive since 2015... waiting for the day the project could come to fruition. Since it never will be we all decided to just release it separately. Kira's remix deserves to be in the world anyway, it's so fresh and funky and great tbh.
Unfortunately there's a lot to be desired on my end, three years ago the english translation I used was the only one up and I never bothered to check for inaccuracies (or rather, I didn't know enough since I've had the lyrics since 2014 and i was a dumbass lmao). The vocals are also just... okay. There's a lot of things I would like to redo but I'd like to get this chapter of my life over with and it's still a solid cover nonetheless, so I hope y'all like it!!!!
I'll be uploading the other and last track I did for the album next week! Can anyone guess what song it is? It's not really reol but it's still giga... so....

Oh ma god! I listened to this song a week ago and was like “damn this is good! I wish Rachie or Juby would sing it!” And here we are a week later! Now I’m just waiting on Konoyo Loading to become English!
Edit: after listening to this 7 times I just realised that this song is about suicide...
Not really? It's about moving from the past and how things change and how the person in the song saved the singer, but they've changed.
The concept of killing your past self is letting it go, moving on to a brighter future. Ennui is a sense of listlessness and discontent with life. So the singer is talking about how "everything breaks apart" and how they'll "kill their past self" in the sense that they're realizing they've based a lot of themselves around the person who saved them, and they're making the choice to move on. It's not so much suicide as it is self renewal.
