- Take a look at some trains in New England! We will be focusing primarily on passenger trains in the areas around Boston including the high speed Amtrak Electric and MBTA commuter rail trains. We will also see some trains in Northern Massachusetts and Maine.

We need more commuter rail like this here in the Atlanta area
True. But, it’s been shot down so many times that it’s concerning…
**Laughs in New England**

This brought back some memories to this Brit of a terrific holiday (vacation) in Boston and New England. In The Fall of course! About 5 years ago now and I took the train up from Boston to Albany and Syracuse on my way to meet old friends and 'do' Niagara Falls and a short visit to Canada. Fabulous scenery and for once I was glad the train took its time along those river valleys. Some bumpy old track into one stop where we had time to get off and mooch around as we did at Albany.
Great countryside and great friendly people....

Great video, glad to see you liked the New England area...So much more up here to see...Love your videos, I get to see California without having to go there.
rich sheehan Thank you very much. I really enjoyed New England, even with all the snow. Hopefully I will be able to return some time during the summer.
6:32 we need this in Las Vegas
4:11 amazing loud MBTA shot of 1722
She Sounds like CH-P 1027 but is Low pitch
Yes
The reason the train is tilting at 1:44 is because its on a high speed line that the Acela uses.
Cool!
which is on the acela mainline
why are the tracks made tilting?
@@kristiebeals3 so they can go around turns faster
@@kristiebeals3 when its not tilted a force lushes the train which can cause it to tip over if at hugh speeds. To prevent this force when you tilt it inside thr speed with cancel the force out.
How can so many people not know where new England is
Too much reality Television and not enough studying. Christ, immigrant, seeking citizenship are know more about the US and it's history then a lot of US citizens.
I'm from Connecticut🌨😀👌
So Boston right? That's where it is?
I mean massachusetts
I’m form boston
the clip at 7:00 is so aesthetic
Shout out to Boston Mass! I live not far from there and I see the T go by my high school every day! The Acela is one of my favorite trains, I went to new york on it when I was a kid! Great video!
Well, since New England is my fav region in the US (especially because I live there) and I’ve been watching this man quite literally my entire life this is definitely a great one.
Great shots Mike! Lots of fast-paced rail action out there!
Glenn Nahrwold Thanks Glenn! There are quite a few of them that are really fast back east.
Yeah. We have some pretty fast trains in the Northeast.
@@CommuterRailProductions Your true about that
I live about 10 miles from Boston and I take the MBTA train all the time and I used to and still do watch your videos all the time
Estos trenes son fantásticos.
Antonio Gonzalez Gracias!
Wow a beautiful compilation! I can't wait until I can get further aerial drone footage around New England

Old MBTA F40PH horn in rails unlimited 0:52 (sounds like it)
Yep that’s the one
4:54 at the other place is tilting too
I want to go to Massachusetts and Connecticut so bad! I was going to Boston last summer, but the trip was canceled.
This last weekend, I rode the Fitchburg line, between Waltham and Boston North Station. It had three intermediate stops. I could have alighted at Porter Station to connect to the red line. The Waltham station layout is such that there is only one track, but the outbound and inbound platforms are separated by a cross street, but are on the same side of the track. To expand the station, would require demolition of adjacent buildings. Brandeis/Roberts appears as more "conventional" with two tracks and opposing side platforms.
Amtrak's Downeaster that goes to Brunswick, Maine, from Boston North, shares tracks with the Haverhill line, and stops at Malden Center.
nothing better than watching a CF2105 video
I really like this! Nice catches though!
8:53 this is my favorite part
Once again, Awesome! =D
I LOVE the new ACS-64 Cities Sprinters! It's great for an engine to use a beautiful Graham-White E-Bell!

Yeah
4:39 is the best part!
7:51 that almost looked like a T SD70ACE
I’m pretty sure that it’s just a passenger version of that locomotive
@@ArtyI no, that’s a GP40MC
SD70ACe?
Man MBTA has 12 lines and my favorite commuter rail
If you ever come back to New England, I recommend seeing the Housatonic Railroad. There's a lot of great scenery around it and plenty of great shots + nifty yellow-and-green locomotives.
The MBTA pulling into the station at 1:54 seems to be defying gravity. How is it not falling off the tracks due to it's bank angle?
No the weight of the train keeps it on I think
When a track banks, all the energy from the trains speed gets pushed down onto the track. Keeping it on the track and not sideways on the ground.
TommyTom21 that and also the amount of tractive effort the train has.
0:52 Rails Unlimited Maroon of Massachusetts horn
0:52 TRAINZ train horn and Roblox train horn
1:41 why was the purple MBTA moving so much slower than the Amtrak train?
Because the amtrak train was Amtrak's high speed service called the Acela. The MBTA train is just a commuter train so its speed are meant to be a bit slower.
1:44 is the train actually tilting that much or is the camera making look more then it is?
They do indeed tilt that much on the curves.
Hi
Zack Boone it is tilting that much
it ashamed the acela
Hi
nice trains
+metro boston buses an rail Thanks!
no prob
Are you ever going to come back to New England?
Yes, but not sure when. Lots of steam stuff in the Northeast I need to get to including 3 or 4 RRs in New England.
@@CoasterFan2105 cool if you do come back you should stop by PAS D3 good place for NS, Pan am action

Please come back.
s0nnyburnett That is definitely in the plan.
I love ❤️ the Downeaster
The station at 0:53 is that the old Lawrence Mass. station, it looks like it.
+Gary Plastek That's the old Framingham Station or Ebenezers as it was called about 15 years ago.
but thats the framingham station
Sound Kinda Like RU! 0:51
The mbta passes my house every day
2:09 Amtrak: ur not winning today mbta!
Btw MBTA is Amtrak as well
@@NortheastCorridorFilms no it is not. Amtrak is owned by the U.S government. The MBTA is not and is run by the state of Massachusetts. Amtrak owns the northeast corridor and its tracks which is why the mbta runs on those tracks. But they are both separate companies

Amtrak & MBTA Trains In New England
Nice trains MBTA
Where did you catch the CSX train? Pretty rare to see that up in New England I would think
CSX has a lot of operations in New England. They own the old Boston and Albany line, Huge intermodal facility in Worcester, yard in Readville outside Boston with local customers. And they are about to buy Pan Am.
0:52 sounds familiar...

its the maroon of boston
It is.
Whats the station called with the “TRAIN APPROACHING” sign?
canton junction i think
2 the T trains took over the acela main line
When was Amtrak pulled by a steam engine and where was that? In your intro
It was during a steam excursion for the ATSF 3751, the P42DC was just there to supply head-end power and dynamic braking, so, not really pulling an Amtrak. I think it's in San Diego because that's where the Coaster is.
2:00 why is there no railroad ties?
Heh?
💚💚💚💚
is this new trains?
Did they send New England trains to USA?
New England is a part of the USA consisting of states like Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
Coasterfan did u know that the Downeaster f40ph is a cab car
Yes, that I did!
i dont understanT why the train is tilting at 1:41
American trajns tilt on curves. Just like british trains
They have 2 large collums on the each and end of each coach to prevent it from falling
