Some of both.... sledding, skating, and giving them sled rides with the four wheeler. And I'm your age, I believe. 😉
I spend it in the kitchen, and send the kids out in it LOL best of both worlds
It was so much fun watching you and your son snowboarding together. I think it so special when mom and son can spend quality time with each other. Love your family so much!❤

Wow, Xander did great snowboarding. What a special day for the 2 of you. I always loved snow days when my kids were little. They would go sledding with their dad. Sometimes, I would join them depending on whether their were little ones at home. But snow days always included homemade hot chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies. My kids still talk about it. Thanks for sharing your day. For Valentine's Day, I would give my children the option of a small box of candy on Valentine's Day or a large heart the next day when they were on sale. They always choose the large heart. One year, when my daughter was a young adult, she surprised me with a box of chocolate. She attached a note that said, "Don't worry, I bought it the day after Valentine's." ❤

I love your channel! I could watch your sweet family 24-7. As far as snow day, I am a couch potato. You and Xander are amazing on snowboards! Also, your dinner looked delicious. Lexi is such a little punkin'. Her smile is worth a million dollars.

Been watching for years and again and again I'm amazed how good your videos are, you have such a wonderful talent in creating videos. Can't wait to learn how to Snowboard myself, growing up in Mexico didn't give me much options to Snowboard. And hopefully I can teach my little boy one day 😊
Thanks so much. Appreciate your encouragement. One word of advice. First day of boarding, where as much Cushion as feasibly possible 😅 and don't give up. It takes about a day of beating yourself up, to finally get a bit of a feel for it. Especially as an adult. Kids catch on much faster

One time, when I was little, we took all our parents Tupperware & drinking pitchers outside & built an igloo 😂 My 2 brothers & I gave up after a few hours, but our dad was off work & he spent the next 2 days out there until he finished it for us. I REALLY needed this to help calm my mind, has be3n alot going on and my anxiety is at an all time high, but getting to see yuou guys having so kuch fun in the snow and on the slopes and baking and cooking in the kitchen made me forget my anxiety ev3n if it wae just the time I got to watch this. Thank You for that. Where did yiu go skiing? My son is skiing with his friends today , what a coincidence I am watching you guys snowboarding , my son was gonna try snowboarding. Very fun !! Zander did great!! My son would enjoy that ! We dont have hills around here ,so he uses his fourwheeler to give his sisters some fun sled rides !!and we sure didnt have much snow either this winter ... we've had some very spring- like days lately and makes u for sure wish for spring to be coming soon 😊. Keep on making memories!!! Youre doing great, children grow up fast......looking forward to your next video !! 👍

Zander’s first time snowboarding brought back memories, I was like him with sking only imagine a rolly polly thirty year old Mom in a flannel dress that caught snow like a snowman 😂😂Oh My talk about humiliating! Thanks for giving us a glimpse into my younger life again .

When Xander mentioned sprinkles on bread, I smiled. As in Australia a childhood delicacy (a requirement at all birthday parties) is fairy bread. Bread buttered and then with a layer of sprinkles on top.
Seriously? 😀 that's so awesome. I'll have to tell him that. He's going to insist on sprinkles on bread lol 😆
It's not healthy but quite yum. The best way to get the sprinkles on is to put them in a bowl or plate and then press the buttered bread down into it. @@theMennoniteMom

Im from Philadelphia/Bucks County Pa-now living in Maryland and we love scrapple, (but not everyone in Maryland knows what it is exactly or even eats it)they sell it in some stores but we can get it from farms and the Amish Market -and YES, you are right, it must be cooked properly, it takes some time BUT fried crisp is best!!!!

I love scrapple fried hard it’s delicious some need pancake or maple syrup with it I’m good with out it . We stayed in for Valentine’s Day no need to go out. I’m 61 years old u stay in the house and cook

Wonderful vlog!! Xander did such a great job snowboarding and he is getting so tall!!! Lexi is so cute and happy!! Your dinner looked amazing and made me hungry and it's not time to eat!! LOL!!!! I have a question. When baking the pan of veggies in oven does the oil splatter onto the oven floor or sides? I used to make them that way and can't remember. Glad you all had some great quality time together. I am the same as you and Xander about quality time. Hmmm in not sure. My oven can get quite dirty, and needs cleaned... but I don't think ours enough oil to splatter much. I'm sorry no one enjoys quality time in your family 😔

I been wondering if you can tolerate sourdough, or does it upset colitis too?
I pretty much don't eat it. Once in a great while. I make it for my family. But I do hear it is easier to tolerate. Maybe someday. Do you have UC?
@@theMennoniteMom I don't thinks it's UC, but colitis related. I have lots of cramps and am usually bloated. A while back I did a 6 week challenge to go without flour and lots of other stuff and I felt a lot better.

I have watched you roller skate, ice skate and now snow boarding ( while filming the video!). Zander really caught on quickly….he is always so determined to tackle new things.
