FYI.. The 911 in this video is a 991.2 convertible, not a brand new 992 coupe tested on the car wow vids runing 10.1s.. also floor when tested was slightly damp, hope this helps ✌🏽
Nevertheless, this 911 is tuned to 750 bhp, so it should be closer to the current model's 1/4 mile time. The condition of the track might affect the 0-60 & 1/4 mile times but it's irrelevant in a drag race because both cars are 4WD and they run side by side on the same surface... Unless there is a significant difference (in M5's favour) between the tyres used...

I'm quite confused. A stock 911 Turbos S ran a 10.2 on carwow. Why was a tuned 750hp one so much slower?
Putting down the power , a car can have 1000hp but if struggles to put power down..pointless
What you see on carwow is their best efforts after some tries to give the cars a fair chance if something goes wrong, this on the other hand is heads up racing, there's no do overs - both are great ways to do races. Also its a damp day & the 911 is a 991 not the latest 992 so has worse launch, both awesome cars though with owners who arent afraid to hammer their motors 👌, I bet that M5 could do even better if it was drier.

@@konstantingeorgiev7777 the BMW weighs over 300kg more than the Porsche. 50bhp doesn’t offset that weight - the Porsche’s power to weight would be much higher. Again, one or both of these cars are claiming a false power figure. Also, what makes you say the BMW doesn’t have turbo lag?

I doubt this 911 makes more than 650hp. Maybe less. It's nowhere near 750hp. I have had mine 4 years and have been on track many times. I have the same mods he claims to have (but my exhaust is way louder with 100 cell cats, hrmmmmmm) and it makes nowhere near 750hp, nor even with race fuel could I make it safely put out that much power. The intercoolers and y-pipe need upgrading to get there even with C16... and you'd be overspeeding the stock turbos at that.
I think the m5 got over 800hp
On paper it got 625 but in dyno they are 680 or so.
And a tune gets easy 150-180hp
If thats a gen 750bhp Turbo then that M5 would have no chance

@@rabosi01 It isn't right. You don't get 750hp with just a tune and (he says) an exhaust system. Not even straight pipes. To get it with stock turbos, he'd need intercoolers, y-pipe, catless exhaust, water/meth injection and 100 octane+ fuel. Take a look at ESMotor's ES670 package (670whp).

How’s gapping measured ? The car length rule , is it from rear bumper to front bumper of cars or the gap from front bumper of winning car to front of chasing car. I ask coz he said beemer won by car&half when I could see only half a mini length between the two on rolling race finish.

Let me explain to you then - the 911 is about 600 pounds lighter, has a highly efficient PDK transmission, has its weight directly over the rear axle, has better aerodynamics, and those things all add up to having 750hp beating the snot out of an 800hp M5. I posted multiple videos on this video showing an *ACTUAL* 750hp 911 (667whp on a Mustang dyno) beating a 720S and if you go through his videos he's beaten superbikes, Teslas and more. The 911 in this video I'd guess at 635 crank horsepower or maybe a bit more.
FYI, Longboarder has run into the 9s on R888s @ 140mph+ and this is literally the lowest-mod upgraded turbo car you'll see. But at least it's a real 750(ish) horsepower.
