900r XRS get's big drivers, a Ripsaw 2 and some Snow Studs Snipers! Traction shouldn't be an issue!

Wrapping up the majority of Pat's 2024 900R XRS build is the install of the 10T 2.52 pitch drivers, the 136"x1.25" Ripsaw 2 track and some Snow Studs 1.625" Sniper studs. This setup looks right at home on the 900R XRS and is gonna give it all the traction it needs to put the power to the snow.

Just my 2 cents, always stud the outside on a 144 making sure you're "within" the limits of backers and track edge. The best bit is closet to the rail so the absolute middle should be avoided, glad not to see double plates on this application. Cant wait to see some numbers on this unit with the upgrades, those 850 comp turbos are in trouble. Cheers from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

Traction isn’t a problem on hard packed trails. It really hooks up.

Nice video, was there a noticeable difference in rotating resistance? With the 10 tooth drivers did you go to a 2.52 pitch track? Did you go with big wheel kit in the rear?

It's 8 tooth stock drivers, they installed 9 tooth, same as the 850 Turbo Comp has.

@@patrickminer5086Interesting, I didn’t think a 10t would fit in a G5, I guess maybe it depends on if its a 2.52 or 2.86 maybe, as the 10t 2.52 is close to a 9t 2.86 like the MXZ turbo comes with.
