2024 900R XRS gets a MaxxECU install! P.Drive disassembly walkthrough, and Pure Turbo preview

  • The first part of Pat's 2024 900R build is underway! In this video we cover the MaxxECU mounting/relocating on the G5 due to the new cooling fan setup. We briefly touch on the big injector swap and then I cover a good bit of the disassembly/assembly process of the Skidoo P.Drive clutches.
    This MaxxECU setup came from Precision Sports and it's one hell of a kit, very straight forward plug and play process that retains all gauge functionality as well as adds a ton of awesome features alongside the MaxxECU reliability and datalogging capabilities.
    Stay tuned for the upcoming Pure Turbo upgrade/swap process and then some driveline modifications to make this the ultimate big trail cruiser!

    Where did you purchase the MaxxEcu and do you tune tourself or upload tunes? Thanks.

      The MaxxECU and Pure turbo setup came from Martin at Precision Sports. He also provides a base map that is INCREDIBLY accurate. You can then monitor and make changes to the file as necessary, Martin has a lot of the important stuff and safeties locked so you can't get too out of hand and really mess things up.

    Is that a warranty delete?

      Yes. The warranty is now in the trash next with the stock ecu

    How many HP with the maxx ecu ??

      We're planning on a consistent/safe 230hp, the potential for 240/250hp is there but we want to be conservative and realistic with trailside fuel in mind.

      They're pretty sweet in stock form, but there's no denying that having the capabilities of the MaxxECU is a way better setup for those of us that want to monitor and control everything we can!

      I been working with sled for almost 40 years, I now wheln I see o PRO 👏🤗 I also have a 900 ace Turbo project but diffrent 2020 Lynx Xterrain extended to 163 with too many details 🤣
