fuck diamond district, me and my homies hate diamond district
My guy is so dedicated to his name that he went through one of the hardest ways to play just to punch a clown at the end.
"I am become night, the destroyer of Banes."
-Puncherheimer
im proud of you clownpuncher what else can i say
I think we all are
"I'm proud of you, Dick."
Yeah, he really punched those clowns
@@ccelite3782lore reason?????
@@garlicbread11682 are you stupid?
I'm gonna be completely honest, I loved "I am the Night" mode in Arkham Origins.
But I legit wished that both the Return to Arkham games and Arkham Knight involved this game mode. With New Game+ being honestly my preferred way to play the games. This provided a really nice way of giving me a new challenge. With Firefly being the most difficult.
Couldn't you just do it on your own? You might not get anything like you do for origins, but can't you go through new game plus, and if you die, just restart on your own?
@@austinmann1435yes. Yes he can.
@@austinmann1435technically yeah. But you would have to have multiple save files backed up.
And on the 360, you can’t really do that. Trust me I tried to do that a few times. Had to restart all my saves😢
@@Bugplanet8840 you can't just restart a new game plus? Damn, those bastards thought of it all
@@austinmann1435 I could, by it would be a real pain in the rear to do so, since you can't erase your newgameplus data without straight up erasing your save file, so anytime I die I would have to play through the ENTIRETY of the regular game again just to unlock newgameplus and try again.
Dude this looks like it was so difficult holy shit good job
5:52 Oh my god, you beat Electrocutioner on I Am The Knight? That was the hardest boss of all time, it took me 10 tries to beat him.
I still remember my first attempt in "I am the Night" Mode. I tried to do Deadshot's side mission just by curiosity, but he saw me and one-shot me.
It's a real shame that this mode wasn't carried over into Arkham Knight. I always adored these ultra nightmare type difficulties that are designed to absolutely push your patience to it's breaking point.
Imagine playing the story mode through perfectly and then a riddler blockade knocking you into the water.
Fun Fact: if you stay perfectly still after the cutscene when Gordon comes in to help fight the thugs in black gate, the thugs just won’t lock onto you and you can essentially just wait for Gordon to take them out. I did that on my I Am The Night run and used it as a opportunity to catch my breath after both Bane fights lol
How can I play this game today? This is my favorite Arkham game and idk how I can play it. For context I have a ps5!
@@rolinn777 if you have PSNow, you can play it on a PS5. However, it's not the in the best quality. You're probably better off getting an Xbox 360 Emulator or just buying it on PC
@@swxtch5503 don’t have pc though man and idk what a 360 emulator is. Talking about quality do you mean that it doesn’t look the best or that it has too many bugs?
its streamed. so if you have bad internet it wont run well on ps5@@rolinn777
Glad i was able to participate in the streams. That goddamn Bane train is truly something *_very dangerous._*
I once tried it and i'm very proud of being able to no-hit Deathstroke yet again.
Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday on the third stream!
Bane train is easier if you slide instead of evade, still need good timing tho...
You had your own Knightfall arc man lol first fear and uncertainty allowed Bane to beat you, then your victory made you weak and overconfidence let him break you, then you came brought stronger than ever and showed Bane who rules the night.
16:25 "The bane train, Woo Woo"
-clownpuncher139
Years ago I beat this as a really, really persistent and frustrated teenager. I love this mode to death and have been contemplating giving it another try. Earning that Batman Arkham Origins XBOX Avatar skin drove me to crazy limits trying to beat this. Stuff like Deathstroke, and the Bane fights in particular I remember being horrific in this mode.
It's cool to see you got it completed!
Revel in your victory!
I was playing the story on hard mode, and boy I could not imagine fighting the bosses in this game with permadeath. This game has the absolute best boss challenges of the Arkham series
Legends say the Baine fight still haunts him to this day
I am glad they added a mode like this into the game, sure it is very brutal, but it is clearly marketed towards players who already beaten the main game and are good, so it feels like a really cool final challenge that you have the option of completing!
The bombs payload is not exposed I can’t use the powerwinch to trigger a controlled explosion
This vid is what made me try this challenge again. And after 6 runs and so many heart attacks, I did it. With 100% all side missions. Thank you Clown Puncher, your the best.
Always lead with a smoke bomb while approaching a fight from above. Sometimes you can even find some time to squeeze one in while they're running to you
“G’day chaps tis I, clownpuncher139” will never get old
i wish all the other arkham games had this gamemode, it would be super fun to be able to do this on one of the other more optimized and less glitchy games
This took me 8 tries to get through. Bane killed me so many times. Congratulations on getting through it. It's definitely a true test of determination.
Can’t wait for *”Can I complete I Am The Night mode without Detective Vision, Grappling, and Taking Damage?”*
Bonus challenge: Don’t even turn on the game
11:01 dude i am british 😂
Well done on completing i am the night
Let's be honest, Deathstroke is incredibly easy once you figure out how to time the counters rather than just mash the button (except during the staff/sword beatdowns of course).
Also, on the Copperhead fight, explosive gel works just as well (maybe even better) than the concussion detonator.
I actually beat I Am the Knight mode on one try, mainly due to a glitch. I specifically remember dying near the end only for the game to some how respawn me as if it were a normal playthrough.
Finishing this mode after the game came out is still one of my most fullfillng gaming moments ever
I died in I Am The Knight mode once.
I was fighting bane at the hotel, nearly beat him, when my older brother slammed his hands on the window outside.
I pissed myself, and got ran over by the Bane Train.
As someone who beat this mode a year or so ago, i can say bane was also my run enders. Nonetheless great vid/stream and i salute you for becoming the night
I beat the story on “I Am the Night” without TOO much difficulty. Then, while just strolling around the world map casually looking for some collectibles, I stumbled into a thug with a machine gun and died the most random, meaningless death imaginable. I honestly didn’t expect it to reset my save since all the story stuff was done and I was just casually gliding around the open map. When I realized that’s exactly what happened, I turned the game off and haven’t played it since.

Nice…also good luck for Knight,
Well guys, ClownPuncher has done the impossible. I'm proud.
The streams were amazing! Good job clown!
I finally beat “I am the night” mode and at one point I died but closed the game quick enough that it didn’t save that I died, I was so happy because I was almost at the firefly boss. I have never stressed more than when I reopened Arkham Origins after closing it
Very nice video tbh I didn't know what I am the Knight was before this vid 😅
I am here for my fallen brethren. I shall avenge them one day, Clownpuncher.
The Bane train is easier to deal with the more mooks are on the field. Just keep flipping over their heads, and you're safe, even if Bane runs into the guy you flipped off of.
Incredibly proud of you Clownpuncher I missed out on this stream which is a shame I’m just waiting for an Arkham asylum stream
Hey ClownPuncher, I have a challenge for you.
How quick can you “get high” (as in hallucinate) in each Arkham game?
Asylum - first fear toxin encounter
City - Ra’s Al Ghul trials
Origins - Copperhead encounter
Knight - first encounter with Joker
You gotta give him props, he really likes punching clowns
Video series idea:
Villain profiles.
Brief rundown of backstory and motives
Strengths, Weaknesses and Abilities
How to best defeat them
These streams were so fun to watch
I actually discovered the reverse Hotel camera scene about few weeks or a month before you started this challenge, I find it funny how back tracking can actually do that
For the Bane Train the trick is to leave some thugs to use as stepping-stones for dodging. The i-frames and hit detection are much more generous when leaping over thugs than doing regular rolls.
It was so fun watching you do this live! Props to you for beating this!
This game has some funny glitches. I knocked a thug out next to a railing, and his neck stretched out like 3 feet. When I first started the Firefly fight I couldn't attack, and none of the thugs would attack me either. Had to restart.
I remember pulling this feat of strength as a 12 year old back in 2014 the only fight that really gave me a challenge was the bane fight at the hotel 😭 great memories
Brooooo! Looking back on this challenge makes me feel nostalgic! To remember the time when I hadn't beaten it yet... those were such difficult times, but some of the most hopeful and remarkable! Love to see someone else become the Knight as well, and nobody deserves it as much as the true Arkham fans like yourself!
As someone whose beaten I Am the Night a lot, I have to say congrats. It was definitely hard for me on the first try.
The fact that you have done it more than once both terrifies me, yet inspires me to do I am the night mode
@@LondonBat I also did what ClownPuncher did in the video and never restarted during my recent run. And my God, it was rather difficult (especially during the Boiler Room predator room. I also chose to take out all the cops, which had armor, in that one room in the GCPD), but I got through, and I’m very proud of myself. Matter of fact, I might just go through the side missions that have combat/predator sections (specifically Anarky, Penguin Arms Caches, Mad Hatter, Shiva, Black Mask, Deadshot, and Bird) on I Am the Night without restarting cause why not 😂
@@LondonBatand if you do the mode, I wish you all the luck in the world
Thanks for the luck, I'll need it
@@egm_myles69 im playing on a new PlayStation but I mainly play on Xbox so it'll also be a learning experience
The guy saying because I was dying at Bane, that is the most soul crushing sentence I have ever heard. Because I’ve played Arkham origins, and I have died on Bane.
I will never forget my reaction to beating I am the Night and finally unlocking the batman avatar in xbox 360
I remember when I was in high school and I attempted this challenge. As soon as you said, being in the Gotham royale, I almost just turned off the video because I had some bad memories….
Any time I played a hard challenge on any Arkham game, I do what I nicknamed coward strats. Hit enemies with a critical, dodge, hit, dodge, rinse and repeat
I remember when I tackled and beat I am the night. I knew it was something special when crock of all things was giving me trouble.
Pausing at certain points in the game when you wanna take a break or have time to think helps alot
These were some of my favorite streams to watch great moment for this channel
“You see, Arkham, you’re not dealing with the Average Batman anymore, Clownpuncher has risen above the limits! And become! A SuperBatman!”
Having spent many years playing the Arkham games myself, I've become very skilled at these games. I used to be scared to try the "I am the night" mode. A few years back I actually managed to beat it my first try with no resets, but I'm still afraid to go back to it to this day. The only other game I've beaten on a mode like this was DOOM Eternals Ultra Nightmare mode.
Due to you personal I picked up the arkham series to some of challenges thank you for the inspiration to play though the games ago clownpuncher I'm proud of you for completing this challenge you are seriously the goat of the arkham games
Congratulations 👏👏👏 I can imagine how scery the copperhead fight was as its like neo fighting all the agent smiths
Spam the concussion detonator and she doesn’t multiply.
i remember when i 100% completed this game and thought i was ready for this mode, i got to the bane fight at the hotel and died same as you, i decided to never touch it again it made me so upset, but after seeing this i think i might go for it again 😂
im happy you didnt get the copperhead glitch that makes it unwinable since it wont let her fight trigger and you have to restart
I'm proud of you Dick - An Aslume Member
Your are the day, ClownPuncher.
Those streams were quite a fun time. It convinced me to attempt I am the night myself although I made it all the way to the prison bane fight I used the restart shenanigans there. Well done Clown puncher
*He Is Vengeance, He Is The Night, He Is Clownpuncher139!*
Well done chap.
Well done, if I'd of completed this challenge as I'm beating up Joker I would have said during each beat down section (since there are 3) I am Vengeance, beatdown, I am the Night, more beatdown, I am Batman! SUPER BEATDOWN FINISHER
Hey, I was here for a lot of all three of those streams and I just got to say that I think it was worth it because this was a very entertaining video!
I Am The Night is basically Ultra-Nightmare from DOOM
Man, back in... 2014? 2015? When younger me played that mode, I almost died in the first Bane fight in the hotel and later on in the stupid electrified water in route to the GCPD morgue or some other area late game
To bad my Xbox 360 controller is to busted from long ago. Loved Origina from back in the day, to bad it wasn't included in the Return to Arkham remaster, it had thr best alternate suits
Great tip for the brute section in the final offer: since you'll know hes gonna bust through the door. Set up glue gel traps to knock the enemies down and beatdown the brute first, gives you a headstart
It’s the Bane fight. For me it’s the Bane fight that always end these runs for me.
Wow, I can't believe Im kinda in a Clownpuncher video. Also congrats
I remember the time i died during the prison bane boss (before he goes TN-1) and i turned off my Ps3 before the death scene ended, I cut the game back on and I checkpointed to where I was before I died. I basically gave myself a 2nd life/chance.
I just beat it the other day as well, watching your live stream really motivated me to beat it and i finally managed to complete it
This makes me wanna go back and try again because I got super demoralized after I lost to the Titan Bane. Maybe this run will be the one!
Great video! I feel like if more games had difficulties modes like this than people would complain less about games being too easy.
First time i ever played arkham origins i could never find the armor upgrades, so i ended up just atacking akillpoints throughout the game and got so good to compensate that i did desthstroke hitless. When i got to bane at the royal hotel i cashed out those skill points after dying upwards of 10 times
loved watching these streams can't wait for more challenges
When I first tried I Am The Night, I died right before the second boss fight with Bane. I had to redo the ENTIRE GAME. Got it the second time, though, which was nice.
I'd kill to have seen your heartrate during these attempts. Especially your second Bane encounter.
Bane at the end was the most difficult for me in this game mode
I died trying to get into Blackgate from sewers at the end of the game while playing i am the night...
The sfx bug on the helicopter part happened to me today XD
Been waiting for this one.
Most HD ClownPuncher video
being in these streams was amazing
I appreciate the Copperhead strats, she kills all my I Am the Night runs
Spam concussion detonator and she doesn’t multiply
I'll have to try that@@thefonzkiss
8:48 Arkham origins being Arkham origins.
Ooh I wonder how you got past this challenge
Nice to see some of my messages in the live chat at points lol-
Congrats! This seems so hard
I’m so glad I did this in one attempt cause if I had died I wasn’t touching the mode again😭😭
I played Asylum, City and Knight a few times... Origins only once.
Maybe I should do that again sometime.
The gcpd snipers are legit the most hyper aware enemies in ALL of Arkham. You legit get spotted once and you start getting trickshoted while gliding
Great job! Petition for him to do this with the other three games as well. Can't be that hard to manually do, right?
my only complaint is that you should’ve done this for the Christmas special ,besides that I’m super proud of you wish I was there.
Ive done this. "I am the knight" was an awesome game mode.
Wish the rest of the series had it. It was a lot of fun to go through.
my favorite challenege on all batman games is to do the first playthrough on the hardest difficulty without any hints... the hints are also when the enemies are going to attack you. That stacks with the fact that you don't have any upgrades/gadgets unlocked.
I love Arkham origins I remember getting the trophy on ps3, and pretended I was Batman for a whole week straight
Funny, after years I was just now looking on steam for my achievements in this game, and I found out I have this achievement too, I miss only multiplayer achievements and one singleplayer achievement from the DLC where I had to find all those A-signs, I was not able to find only one :D
