- This took a lot less time than I thought it would. But, even though I was covering 2 channels instead of 4, I had a lot to say about those two. Once again, please don't go attacking the creators just because I got a little mad at their videos. They made theirs for fun, and so did I.

I really don't like the sin about Bruce's parents going into a place called crime alley because, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't it given the name "crime alley" because of the Wayne murders?
And beyond that, I hate the "one simple apology makes Jason forgive" ideology. Barbara tries to explain what happened to Jason (in the audio tapes) and it makes him think about the reality of the situation. Bruce does the same when Jason reveals who he is. Then, we know that at the end Jason is tracking batman. I would assume that Jason sees how much batman is sacrificing to save Tim and its only then that he truly understands batman never forgot him. If Bruce is willing to lose himself for Tim, he would've done it for Jason and THAT made jason forgive.
Yeah. It was originally a normal alleyway and dubbed the name "Crime Alley" after their murders.
That was the second worst sin in that video IMO, only topped by the dude sinning the “I am Vengeance” scene

24:20 It's also been pointed out that the super villains in this game are doomed, they didn't just commit crimes tonight, they committed treason by aiding in a massive terrorist attack, they sank all their money into the attack and Bruce sabotaged their efforts to regain their money, and even if, by some miracle they still manage to find a way to get back on the streets... they're now protected by Red Hood, who is a lot less tolerant of them.

Based on Jason's gun he's shooting a 9mm probably a hollow point and with the gun pressed onto the armor it has less time to pick up speed and I'm pretty sure the suit has some flexible kevlar type material (I faintly remember something about flexible titanium something or other)
All of this would fuck bats up without risking death and Jason knows this and that's why he sends thugs right after that scene
bullets don't pick up speed, the fastest they are when they leave the gun so your point makes a less sense now

It could have been a compound to clot the wound, he's also not shown to be bleeding from there so it's entirely possible that whilst it went through the toughest part of the suit it still was slowed enough by the tri weave kevlar or whatever it was to not enter so deeply.
But yes I agree it would have been cool to have a moment where he is shown removing the bullet etc. He basically had a bullet in him this entire game which doesn't seem healthy 😂

Pretty sure that the flexible titanium is for the neck but it's been a while since I've played the game so
the batmobile actually wasnt implemented in the previous games cuz of technical limitations same goes for gadgets while gliding which was supposed to be in arkham city and was shown in the trailer but yea the limiting environment plays a factor also in origins it wasnt built yet

@@ConradRT That's a pre-rendered cutscene, it's not in the game engine. Altough to be honest, I could've done without Gadgets while Gliding the whole series. They don't really make much difference, I barely use them and I've played Knight more than 10 times.

I didn't even notice Joker slide her the gun the first time I played the game, even my second run through I didn't notice it, it wasn't until I played through on a higher difficulty I took the time and saw it happen. Point stands this scene is impactful as fuck and it's not always easy to notice such a small detail your first few times through.
I had never seen that until pointed out in this video.
Helps immerse us into how Batman is feeling during all of this much better as well.
I've always seen it as a small tell that this is a complete hallucination. The keen eyed viewer might get suspicions on what is real and suspect Barbara is still alive

I have been through that cutscene at least 6 times. I didn't notice it either.
The moment with christine belle is actually an intresting one in my opinion. It shows that joker is so violently obsessed with batman, he's convinced they are soulmates when they aren't. The creepy way it comes across is pretty cool.
Honestly, i like chariii but in this one he doesn't seem to understand that the human brain is so much more complicated than "i say this is how it happened so this is absolutely how it happened.", Batman didn't abandon Jason but after everything Jason went through with no one to save him he felt like he'd been abandoned.
I don't know the guy, but this also irked me. Do people really go around thinking that every human thought is just black-&-white abc-123 simple logical steps? Or is that just a character he's playing.

Batman can't search every room in the Asylum, and he couldn't have followed the Joker since you almost don't see him (physically) in game. If I'm not wrong Jason was in the Asylum at the same time Batman was in Arkham Asylum.
Batman probably thought Jason was murdered and just didn't have the time to search for him.

Here’s a sin for your video: I thought the Robin in Origins was Dick, not Jason. It makes the most sense for me that a Batman origin story would have Batman’s first sidekick, not his second.

My main gripe about this game is that they finally gave scarecrow some time to shine but immediately felt like an afterthought once joker was introduced

I'm not an audio engineer but one would assume it is easier to modulate a sound clip than de-modulate it, at least to accurately get the original voice, it's not like he has the original track with an overlay or something.

3:52 I really don’t get the criticism of Joker being in a Arkham Game. The entire series is about the messed-up, toxic relationship between the two of them. In these games, you just can’t remove the Joker interacting with Batman because the relationship is what the series is about. That’s like criticizing that Spider-Man media spends too much time on Peters personal life- you can’t make that criticism because it’s an integral part of his character and the story.
Then they shouldn’t have killed him off.

to add at 11:30 : the joker Christina bell represents is the obsession with Batman, hence why she seems creepy due to her love with him. to list the others, Albert king (the Goliath) is jokers brutal side, Johnny charisma is the humorous side of joker, and Henry adams is the smart and deceiving side of the joker.
All five jokers show one key aspect of his personality. Christina Bell shows Joker’s obsessive romanticism and fixation on Batman. Albert King represents Joker’s surprising strength, brutality, and resilience (which is why he’s the only actual fight). Johnny Charisma shows Joker’s elaborate, hilarious, and sometimes suicidal showmanship. Henry Adams exudes Joker’s capacity to manipulate, his lethal cunning and intelligence. And finally, Batman himself shows Joker’s pure murderous instinct and ability to kill, which he constantly tries to repress over the entire story

8:20 with the Barbra fear toxin scene, yeah, first play through, I saw the world through Batman’s eyes, and I was in tears because all I saw was Barbra kill herself. It took a full play through, a video going over minor details, and watching this scene a dozen times before I could see it rationally, and guess what, IT STILL MAKES ME CRY because this is how you write a story. God I feel sad.

Say what you want about Arkham Knight, but this is one of the most detailed games I have ever played. I'm on probably my 5th play through, and I'm still finding new stuff.
Here’s a actual sin of this game that I found quite recently while playing the endless predator mode, and that is that the batclaw is now useless in predator mode. It can’t pull enemies off ledges anymore and it can’t even pull out vents. I don’t know WHY this is and I might be missing something but I had so much fun with the batclaw in Arkham city and I really really don’t understand why a SEQUEL takes OUT features.
You make a lot of good points defending the game against game sin vids. Also a challenge idea asylum without upgrades. Got the idea I while ago when I beat asylum for the fourth time, because I think asylum is the hardest game in the saga, I would say city is the most balanced out of all plus origins but city is higher because of the bazzare glitches and I don’t know any thing about knight because I don’t have Xbox one /series , ps4 /ps5.

with the great buildup to this scene, and it’s wonderful execution (pun intended) I never noticed that joker slid the gun over to Barbara understand the full severity of what that means till my 5th playthrough when I went back to get the platinum.
It’s moments and little details like these, are what makes the story of Arkham night great, and keeps me going back for more

Even though Henry has access to the bar computer, most if not all things that allow you to change the password require you to input your previous password to confirm it’s you. I’m sure a voice recognition software being used as a password system would require the same thing.

@@brokenknight4938 Most of the criticisms I nitpicked in this video were not valid to me, and I provide exactly why when going over the sin. Knight has a LOT of problems that I, and many others, acknowledge. Charriii5 and Dartigan both point out some of these criticisms in their original videos. I did not cover them because they weren’t wrong with the video.
By the way, yeah I’m gonna be weird and delusional in my videos, because I’m a rabid fanboy, stuck playing the same four games all the time, trying to make a point about them. I don’t think these games are sinless, but the sins videos covering them are just wrong half the time. I did find you nitpicking jokes to be a bit cringey at times and when the argument the person makes isn’t very clearly stated in game it’s fair to sin it in my opinion like I get you wanna plug ur content but not everyone is gonna play these games and watch ur theory which again is a theory and can’t really be stated as fact. It’s on yt but it’s about where Tyger security came from you can link it back to Shiva and Brandon from Origins and all the way to the militia commander and Arkham knight forces especially the ones with detective mode proof camouflage and stuff like that it’s a really fun idea IMO.

I'm not completely knowledgeable on all the physics and mechanics behind it, but basically, an average bullet doesn't actually have a significant amount of piercing power. A good amount of the damage done by a gunshot actually comes from how the bullet will expand during impact. However, Kevlar is designed to sort of redirect the kinetic energy of the bullet across the armor's surface, making it so it doesn't have enough energy to puncture through. However a knife or AP rounds ARE primarily designed to puncture and deal its harm that way, making it easily able to slide through the kevlar and get to the wearer beneath. Though, again, I'm not an expert and don't fully know the physics and mechanics at work here, so my explanation may not be fully correct, but that is a sort of abridged explanation of why kevlar is great at stopped bullets and not knives

Man, I really appreciate this video. People keep hating on Arkham Knight's story, and you mentioned almost every defensive point about it. I hope many people watch this video and realise it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought.
I liked pretty much everything about Arkham Knight including the car and yes i know i will get a ton of hate for liking the Batmobile but it isn't Rocksteady's fault for including it into every part of the game including combat its the fact that players of the franchise begged for it to be a gameplay mechanic since Asylum don't get me wrong i wanted to be able to use the car in gameplay too but not to the point where Rocksteady would feel forced to put it into every part of the game
Every game has flaws they simply point it out flaws are meant to be pointed out and fixed
I just found this channel rather recently but it’s one of my new favorites. I love the introspection you take to these games. I’d love to see you do some actual sins of the rest of the games like you did with Arkham City. As someone who’s been too depressed to do much else lately, your videos have been a fun reprieve from that so thank you. Keep up the great work.

I have to say I disagree with one point: Bruce buying Arkham wouldn’t automatically be suspicious in my opinion. All he has to do is make the case that “we have this vigilante who captures dangerous criminals who endanger our city time and time again. And they always get sent to the same place where nothing ever happens except they come back more dangerous. Surely I’m not the only one sick of this happening. If we can’t do anything about this bat vigilante maybe we can do something to fix part of this broken equation and make Arkham Asylum somewhere more than just a place to heal broken bones from the bat before escaping and starting the cycle all over again!”

Scarecrow probably knew flat out killing Batman would just make him a martyr. He's already inspiring people while alive, imagine if you just executed him in front of everybody, you'd have a new Batman coming after you in no time.

Tbh the only one I enjoy out of the two is chariii5, he's pretty funny in his other videos and even tho i disagreed with him on arkham knight he is still funny at certain points in my personal opinion. The other guy on the other hand? Seems more nitpicky then other sins channels and he ignores obvious things in the game

I’m the same. Charriii5 at least tried to make valid sins most of the time, and his jokes are pretty funny. Dartigan just keeps sinning the most mundane details about the game that didn’t even matter. He probably had 10 sins that were either valid, or were attempted to be valid. All the rest of the time, he was sinning Bat-phones and the fact that the diner had a 50’s theme. Hence why I sinned at least 75% of his video.
Did you know that you can actually counter the doctor with the lead pipe in city? The timing is a little tight, and it's especially annoying in New Game +, but it's possible.
