I was just going to say this. There’s no honor in fighting against people who are basically forced into servitude and starvation - I know a soldier will do his/her duty, but no one will feel good about it. The way we’ve been taught in school here in the US, NK is an oppressor that tortures their own people. We know it’s not their fault - they’re being brainwashed 💔

@@Rhov9 Yeah.. Glad to see yours and Joy's comments. Like, I'm into high tech, and I've played my share of shooter/wargames like anyone else. But the other comments sections are too militaristic for my taste. Not trying to blow up North Korea; we want to disarm them. Remove the government/military leadership, and integrate with South Korea. Not because SK is an ally. Not for money or politics. Because NK and SK have shared language, relatives, and because no one else will be able to de-program their brainwashing better. Hell, I have legit issues with SK culture (work, sex, repression, etc.) and I *still* feel that way. The *best* weapon against NK war culture is literally movies and porn. Most of the youths call themselves the "Black Market Generation", sneaking off to watch 90s movies at risk of death, just to get a taste of that sweet westernized life.

We have drones and nuclear subs and the military never reveals how many ships, tanks, soldiers or tech to the public. I think the point isn’t to show the LATEST in American gear but to show the DISPARITY in quality and quantity of equipment. To defeat NK wouldn’t require anything like our most advanced systems. The other point, I think, is to show the disparity in information available even to the two sides. ANYONE can spend time even on YT and learn far more about Western systems and tactics than what can be known about NK. Of course there are secrets but these gentlemen, for instance, can, with very little time, learn more about their opponents’ than they can about their own sides’ capabilities.

Inttroverted Monk I’m not disagreeing with you but think that we also need to remember our audience. From what these gentlemen have said about their training, they were just grunts. I was a grunt, so I mean no disrespect. Showing them footage of an F-22 or a carrier or a submarine is a bit out of their wheelhouse. It’s cool but wouldn’t MEAN much to them. I think showing them footage of attack helicopters, special forces, ground attack planes and things they’d be more likely to picture themselves actually facing might carry more meaning. I’d love to see them react to, for instance SEAL BUDS training, Ranger school, airborne school, sniper training. Things they could more easily picture doing or facing

Gino Banasig Well, from what I’ve read about a theoretical conventional conflict across the DMV, the main issue isn’t actually the nuclear component. The problem is that Seoul is well within the range of tube and missile artillery. No matter how far advanced the US, we cannot stop conventional munitions from leveling a good portion of Seoul. We win a conflict but at the cost of millions of lives and one of the most densely populated, important cities in the world. There exists, to my understanding, no reasonable plan to evacuate Seoul.

A lot of what they are being told is bullshit. Granted, US miltech is indeed lightyears ahead of NK and they'd stand no chance against a proper invasion. But a lot of exaggeration is presented here. For example the AC-130 can't shoot down missiles, it only deploys flares to avoid them, but that's literally as old as heat seeking technology - even ancient NK fighters have them. Otherwise the AC is just an old transport plane with a few big guns. I also have no idea where you guys got the number of F-15's defeated by one F-22. It is a much more modern fighter, indeed, but not an invincible wonder weapon.

The first FEMALE combat pilots flew A-10s. The Air Force only keeps the A-10 because, basically, the Army MAKES them. It’s just so good at what it does and the Army just adores them. It may be amongst the ugliest planes to ever fly, but to Army troops on the ground engaging strong enemy forces, a more beautiful plane has never flown!

The small handheld device would generally be used for small scale dynamic entry (a rapid entry) of a building, for Counter Terrorism purposes as an example.

@@islander1423 Ac-130 is an aircraft that specializes in being a gun ship. Hence the name AC-130 gunship. We have bombers that specialize in dropping bombs. So, not its shoots guns and does not drop bombs at all. A normal AC-130 is used for troop transport as well as cargo. Side note: There isnt a whole lot of room for bombs inside the gunship at all because the guns you see on the outside extend into the interior quite a bit, plus all the ammo carried on board.

The US and South Korea are strong allies, as well as Japan, which is why we won't go to war with NK. Just because NK can't attack the US, doesn't mean we don't care about the lives of our brothers and sisters in South Korea or Japan. Not to mention all the innocent people in NK that would lose their lives. Also I am digging this long hair on him it looks good. Glad that they were able to get out and have a better life, wish these guys all the best. With love from Texas 💖

The Navy just added a rail gun to their newest destroyer called the Zumwalt. A rail gun magnetically fires a piece of metal at a target without any explosives in it. The speed of it is so fast, mach 7-10. and it completely destroys whatever it hits. It is real cheap to fire, too. The army has just developed an artillery cannon that can fire a distance of 1000 nautical miles.
