Biggs Baysic all life kind of is pretty much the same: we are born, we eat(consume), we sleep(a mountain at rest), we shit(volcanic expulsion), and we die(Big bang or the sun eats the solar system). Pretty much the same for all of existence. I do however attempt to cultivate new hobbies and new social interactions with others. Find some doers to get me out there living life. Food and music and dancing, sports, and comedy, being kind to others and generous. This will all lead to a good life. I do enjoy a lot of repetition in my life. I play chess daily. I set on my balcony or set inside if it's too cold out and drink coffee. I eat tasty food. I spend time with people who's company I enjoy even if they are always in the other room it makes me feel safe to have them near by. And I got two great pets. My life is not much different then my past but I do enjoy the company I keep including my own. I have cultivated some hobbies and so adding a great hobby each year is reasonably enjoyable. I like to partake in other peoples passions, to do things for the first time that I haven't done before or take people with me on a journey so they can try something out for the first time. The look on somethings face the first time it does something or experiences something new is really enjoyable for me.

    From an intp to entps-
Know that you guys are right, most of the time. We would love, often, to be doing what you do, but we can’t. We need you. You can take our logic and translate it into something that people understand usually without sounding like a prick, just like we can take your ideas and begin implementation. At some point, you have to stand by the fact that you are right.
You’ve said your piece, and now it’s the worlds time to make its counter argument. We as intps do this by withdrawing from the world when we’re right but people still don’t listen to us, but it is vital that you don’t do this.
We are silent, but if it helps at all, know that we’re on your side.

Once they see it in you, they will take steps to find your vulnerabilities and use them as 'the hidden weapon'. Unconsciously they build self-defense without anyone knows. I did it once, when i fought with my INTJ bestfriend, and she hated me cz i attacked her at something i shouldn't even know about her. I was pretty much the shittiest player there, but the fact that I failed and failed I started to understand patterns and see what things work and what doesn't. Using that fact that I am able see predictions now - to make the most logical choices on the court. I think that's what he is trying to tell us. Apply this to anything in life and you will be good to go.

I am impressed by your brash honesty. Even if I trusted an ENTP and they would let me down, I would not regret trusting them because they seem like one of the most rational people, so trusting them is a given. So, I'm an ENTP myself. Though it's still up for debate if you ask me. I'm still figuring myself and this system out. But I can relate to a lot of things you say. Especially the part about Si - Inferior, how it relates to our mask and the dangers of it becoming permanent. I'm 28, and I'm fairly certain that because of certain aspects of my childhood, I ended up stuck with my mask on, from an early age, though unaware. I just left something was off about myself, my relationships with people, even my family, I felt disconnected. For the longest time, even now so, I felt like I didn't really know myself. I couldn't tell you what I'm like, or how to describe myself. Like I can't even be sincere with myself.
I was the harsh self critic, still am actually. Also very stubborn (basically thinking I was right all the time), I didn't really listen to people, didn't take well to advice. from around age 10/11 till now. I was good at most subjects so I went through elementary school with ease. Because of this I never adopted a proper learning structure. So high school didn't go so well at times. Made it till senior year, failed my exams. Tried again and dropped out. Went in isolation for about 2 years, just playing video games, watching anime, indulging myself and ignoring reality. Lately I've been trying to fix my mindset about it. Been stuck inside for a good 3 months, without socializing. I'm very grateful my dad makes the effort to come by every other 3 days or so. There's more to tell but it can't focus right now. Normally I wouldn't post it unfinished, but otherwise I won't get anything across. And this will disappear in the comment section, until maybe 3 months later, I see a comment saying: Same, that's me to a T, the ENTP.
Edit: I take that back, at least the ENTP part, partially cause it's still my (unconscious). After further research, it turned out that I'm an INTJ, which makes sense because of the isolation aspect of it (among other things). I do like my proverbial batcave retreat
I'm very future focused, looking for the best way to achieve my goal(s). While still trying taking into account what the influence of the people around me might have.
Anyway, I wanted to give a proper thank you for all the work you do. It's been very useful to me, because of your straightforward and extensive approach. But I was so absorbed in my research, I didn't even notice the fact that you took the time to read and like my initial comment on a 1.5+ yo video. That damn Fi is at it again. Thank you.

Finally, while she was talking about her "type" and me eavesdropping (while acting like I was watching something else) I was intrigued on how many details were accurate. So, when she was finished and asked me again if I would just humor her and answer the 4 questions (also offering to pull it up read them aloud then read the "results") I agreed. She and I both agreed I am an ENTP. This video was the first video I clicked on, and was really dumbfounded by the fact, someone I've never seen or met could explain me and my way of looking at.....everything.

I realized the more I understand others the less I see good or bad in them, but to see them as they are and love them as a whole. I (INFP) have an ESFJ father and ENTP mother and although I've always loved my mom, I've thought of her as a bad person who is uncaring towards others and just hurts people's feelings. AND I thought my dad was the greatest man I'll ever know for being so responsible and caring of others.
Later in adult life I started being bitter towards both of them and I was seeing so many flaws in my dad's psyche and I couldn't do anything about it. Until I started learning types and functions as deep as I possibly could and lately I really appreciate how brilliant my mother is and how she never gets triggered by fake social things and influenced by feelings and always points out the truth in the situation. Now I love them both as they are, way deeper than before. I love my dad's inner duty and my mom's objective and non bias thinking.
These help me SO MUCH to understand others and use my Fi hero to mediate people and their misunderstandings as I always did :)

I also feel like ENTPs are so reasonable and therefore rigid emotionally that we have a false sense of the stability of emotional structures once they formed because we've observed them forming throughout childhood and now can connect the dots and it all seems so interconnected and unchangeable that we don't have the courage to grow ourselves and withdraw from this chore also because we are insecure about making the wrong steps - there's the fear that every way we form is long-lasting because we are so overly self-conscious that under the hood we build our character/personality/behavior through repetition based on the memory of "I agreed that this kind of response is strategically the best and feel as good as can be too"; this repetition might be why our inner child which is quite exterior (no matter how much we wanna contain it) doesn't receive the proper care and work and that's why the inferior is too strong too and same with the harsher parent. The child wants to be treated well and get what it deserves eventually but on its own it's clumpy which requires patience from us (the great-for-suffering but also I-will-do-it-for-you ISFJ subconsious) and sometimes we just have enough of it (the harsh parent again). It all kinda makes sense but is all the more annoying learning that a whole personality type has this fucked up insecurity problem and not just me ;P Like, how to cure personality? Fuck me

I've lit the fire more than once, and I'll do it again, big time 😈 So sad, but feels so good when you get rid of these chains. Freedom is everything.
And yes, all we want is just being accepted the way we are. That's it.
    BTW, Merry Christmas.
    Enjoy your turkey 🙏😅

I'm an Infj, yet much of this speaks to me 🤔
I find the thought process of this type, fascinating.
Having a few friends of this type I can honestly say, they are some of the most inspiring and motivating friendships to have.👍

your savage way of helping others is so appealing to me, it's just so cute! You care so much yet it isn't on the surface... it's just here avaliable in your every action. I can't tell you how much I like this about ENTPs
even if I'm an INFP and ENFJ are suposed to be my "perfect match", I find that ENTPs are deeper... kinda... I don't know, I just appreciate the assurence that you say the truth unfiltered and help me WIN EVERYONE THROUGH SOCIAL ENGINEERING MOUAHAHA
okay, That took a weird turn because I was stroking your ego too much. you're good, however, you pick your nose.
pfff (that's as far as I could strech my negative input)

    My learning from this.
ENTPs can favour one of two cognitive functions 1) introverted thinking (Ti) or 2) extroverted feeling(Fe). Eg preference more to ideas or more to people.
The degree by which an ENTP favours these functions changes his or her perspective on life.
I feel like @C.S. Joseph leans more towards introverted thinking and less on extroverted feeling.
It seems his view 'people don't like entps' is a personal view of his own experiences.
I am an ENTP (who is more Fe favouring, but doesn't neglect my To either), I feel people love ENTP. When tuned in on fairness, social interaction, harmony, then people love and are drawn to ENTPs.
However, if an ENTP favours introverted thinking, and see's people like cows that can be used for manipulation, then you will lose in life.
You can be the smartest man or woman on earth. If you don't have a friend, lover, coach, mentor and peer to enjoy your time with - you will have a very unfulfilled life.
My advice to other ENTPs. Grow your communication skills, your listening skills and your interest in other people. Have fun, life is a game. Help others, use your brain for good. Don't hurt/manipulate/deceive others, it will be obvious in the end, your reputation is important.
If you don't have people on your side, you will lose and you will be unhappy.
ENTPs can do amazing things, but on their own, without the support and approval of those that love them, what good is it, when there's no one to celebrate your wins with?🤔

This is really bad advice my god you really don't know what your talking about but i mean it understandable coming from an "entp who prefers Fe" . Your only telling what you think should be the best version of an entp you don't even try too understand the issue .Your lack of care make me wonder if your really an entp.

You had heated each and every corners of ENTP. Certainly you said 100% truth about ENTP. Being myself as ENTP, I found all in your description. Thanks

i wish i could take this advice to heart, but as an entp in Si grip everything feels too daunting, I'm stuck in analysis paralysis overthinking every last detail, generally feel pretty low energy, and I am heavily self-conscious to the point were i don't want to share any of my important opinions due to fearing i don't have a solid enough grasp on the facts or people will just ignore my advice or not really care what i have to say. getting out of this grip state is hard because i feel like pursuing my own goals creates an immense sense of guilt, like i should be ashamed for wanting to stand out and that's really holding me back, any advice would be appreciated.
