Damn boys, good overview. I like both. KInda leaning on the topper so I can take a tent on/off to keep things a bit lighter.

Topper with the iKamper is a great setup. The iKamper is a better RTT than the GFC wedge.
I think it's roomier, the iKamper that is. But besides that, the GFC, I would say is equally comfortable, especially with an upgraded mattress.

Camper all the way! I can always put stuff on top of it anyway. That being said…. if a guy already has a topper that he really likes, I could see getting just the RTT. But for me, having camped across the country in just toppers, being able to stand in my GFC while I change my underwear and pants or just plain stretch…. Priceless!
Agreed. I think camper is the way. Ultimate function and it still super low profile. I don't need to take the tent on and off either.
I agree. The camper is the ultimate for function. Bed access through the panels is arguably one of the best features!

Great video, really liked the comparison, I have a GFC topper on order for my gladiator, now i just have to wait for them to build it. I live nearby GFC so it was an easy choice to purchase from them and get it installed locally and support them. Have you had them in the snow ? What has been your experience with the units exposure to harsh temperatures?

Yeah both of us have used them in multiple winters. Everything is great. The only thing, which has been addressed, was the freezing latches. You can either buy covers, or GFC just released their Pro kit upgrades. Otherwise, no other complaints! We have a diesel heater on the camper for super cold winter nights.
