That’s where I was born St Mary’s hospital just up from Mayday hospital.Use to be a ball boy at Selhurst park Crystal Palace and in fact I played v Palace for Croydon schools and had a very good game.
Went jr school addischome n secondary in Shirley,use to go out clubbing n all the bars around that way growing up.
Croydon was a really cool proper diverse place to grow up,spent few months up that way about 2 years ago n was up their last year.
Straight outta Croydon let’s not forget Stormsy is from the manner,Kate moss use to be out n about lots,I hear Philip Green is Croydon the fella with all that dough n still wanted to tuck lots of employees up for their pensions sounds about right.

West Croydon born and raised since 1985. Croydon changed without changing at the same time. And yes anyone from London if you go paris get a 'grec' from Paris. La courneuve in 93 is like croydon, brixton and Peckham rolled into one. But cleaner. Damn croydon council really don't do nothing for the residents. But loads of talent in croydon. We woke too but need better manners. We're all rude af. Lol

as a visitor (tourist) I went to Pekham (I was staying), Brixton. Recently I went to Saint Denis and Paris for a walk. Both are cosmopolitan, interesting. But I would feel safer in Pekham and Brixton as people seem less stressed and aggressive than in 93 and Paris

20 years living in Croydon growing up in Glasgow I don't see this hole Croydons a ghetto, croydons a no go bla bla blah. Never had an issue over anything that wasn't reasonable you get me. Been up north since 2021 and miss Croydon already.
