I’m a big Bryce Meredith fan and have been watching him since his NCAA days but I hope he learned from this fight and doesn’t come out swinging on the next one and rely on his wrestling more. Daniel Cormier, Tyron Woolley came up relying on their wrestling and learned striking throughout their fights. I don’t want him to be like Aaron Pico and get knocked out a couple times until he decides to rely on his elite wrestling (and Aaron Pico is a way better striker IMO compared to Bryce)
@@justinisabeast9573 I never said Aaron isn’t a good striker lol. Y’all got the point wrong. My point is Aaron is a great striker but he lost a few fights in which he should have won if he relied on his elite wrestling first. Dude a beast in grappling.
Take them down and beat the daylights out of them. You have nothing to prove or gain by standing up too long. Time will hone your stand up game . So take is easy and avoid being rocked whenever possible
Love Bryce Meredith but man I hope he evolves his striking game.....and I hope all these wrestlers wanting to transition to MMA start to develop their whole game
There's a lot of work to do, got to keep that right hand up so he don't get caught with them hooks decent style I agree must wrestle a lot more. Wrestlers can't think their boxers just coming into the ring... My son wrestled him as a youth beat him everytime . I thought he was talented then. But i loved how tuff n confident he was thru college hope that tude take's him where he wants to go .
Literally probably the best thing that could have happened I’ve seen so many guys get tkod because that one shot the country survive had never happened to him before getting tested throught your career helps you in the long run he will be better next fight just because of that
Hahaha. I promise you I'm not, good sir. Accidentally came in really light because of the COVID protocol. We had to show up in Sioux Falls the day before weigh-ins to get tested, so I brought my house scale and just tried to stay under 135.6 on my scale. Ended up weighing in the next day at 133.2 with shorts and sweatpants on. Strange circumstances. Lol. Legit made me lol with that comment though... The moustache and man bun really pulls it all together. Haha
Bryce La is head movement, and he is too stiff at times. He is good outside of the UFC. But once he hits the big stage he is going to be an average fighter at best.
Mad respect to Bryce for getting rocked and still coming back to win
Thanks for spoiling the match
@@danielchavez7336 lmfao why would you go to the comments and not expect them to be about the video 💀
It was the only comment i could see without having to go to the comment section. All in all. Im happy for bryce. I went to UW with him
Not easily broken! Wrestlers are built different

Pico is not a great example, he was a PAL and golden gloves champ, and a national Pankration champ.
Bruh Aaron Pico was a golden gloves champion he had good stand up game what are you talking about lol

Pico had skill but a glass jaw. Rip
Good advice!
damn he got dropped but rallied hard asf respect
Austin DeSanto
DeSanto would wreck these clowns
Doubtful....MMA takes discipline and self control.
Went to school with Bryce way back in the day...
He was always a guy you didn't want to underestimate!
Went to school with Bryce. Dudes always been tough as nails.
Yessir he seems cool
Bakersfield?
Nice fight Bryce! You should be able to dominate everyone on the ground.
They have great respect for each other.
Had no clue Bryce was fighting. Absolute unit. Wishes to a long successful career
Congrats Meredith!

B Money Meredith baby! Good work.
Here after redhawk recap.. kids a scrapper
Idk why but I got quite annoyed when they kept referring to Bryce as “the wrestler”
Because he’s a NCAA champ 😂😂😂
@@cameroncaldwell4523 no he never was
@@555dking OH YEAH I forgot, he lost in the finals right? But either way, that’s pretty good credentials.
Because it's his first MMA contest. He's only a wrestler at that point.
@@cameroncaldwell4523 champ as in 1st??? Nope
Bryce is a beast. Get em. Wrestling is the best discipline.
Now that is ground and pound

His wrestling is already so good once he fixes up his game he’ll be very good

@@sweeterscience83 if ur talking Bryce I believe he was a NCAA national champ and placed 2nd once aswell. Hes Great at scrambling
@@hyper550 yeah, I know how Bryce did.

No your son didnt
Nice
I've met Bryce at a few wrestling camps
beast
Great fight. Merrill held his own, tough buy. I expected Meredith to ground and pound.
Bryce you got to get your hand game up and your chin
Wrestlers vs blue belts on Twinz VS
This will be a lesson to Bryce to stick with his wrestling! Dominate with your strength
Go get em Bryce!

Good job Bryce
I was waiting for him to get dropped and he did. Good recovery. He doesn't need the best hands to win but has time to develop
The disrepect towards wrestlers by commentators is annoying
bryce coulda had the darce multiple times but he looked pretty good here. toughness is there forsure
His opponent looked like an addict no cap

Why don’t wrestlers train south paw when they go mma?

You’re acting like he can’t improve
College wrestler vs Kickbox junkie
Pro fight?
Looked really sloppy on his feet. Definitely needs to work more on his feet
Skinny man was doing so well
When he fights someone with real hands he will get knocked out.
Hes a problem
For who?
Not impressed at all lol
