    Yianni has always been awesome but just keeps getting stronger and better. His international freestyle work seems to have given a lot of "strength" to his wrestling foundation. Just a couple years ago it seems like he was the "gumby" scrambler. Now he looks strong in all positions without having to go into a stretch match with his opponent in weird positions in order to win scrambles. He still has the flexibility and agility obviously, but he is looking like a world challenger in this form with the added strength.

    Yianni's style has always been so fun to watch. Shayne Van Ness reminds me of him too. The way they like to move in every direction and work with angles is so damn good. The way they also reshoot on and on again is just way different than most other wrestlers which is what makes them so good

    • @zaynes5094
      @zaynes5094 Před 5 měsíci

      @kev4850 Great example. I thought of Van Ness as well. I think Shayne will come back from the season-ending injury and look to steamroll through the 149-lb division. No more Yianni to be in his way. Shayne lost to Yianni in 2022 and it was close early but due to his experience Yianni was able to hold Shayne off.

    - Ridge should be ecstatic about his incredible performance in the tournament. So proud.
    - Yianni looked every bit like a world-class wrestler and, though I didn't see all his matches, unbeatable in the NCAA.
    - Yianni was classy to acknowledge the other wrestlers who got screwed in 2020. These guys are all studs and I like it when they show respect to each other..
