anyone else notice at 3:33 and 6:43 bajrang stepped and planted on yianni's foot to get him off balance while he took a shot? the genius part his: he steps on yianni's left foot the first time and his right foot the second time. quite unpredictable. never saw someone get yianni so off balance like that

That's got to take a toll on your mental focus.
Ehh, sometimes refs mess up scores in my important matches, but after I remind them it is usually still easy to focus.

Did they miss a pin or was there not enough control? I had a friend win a match because of his freakish long legs balancing in a cradle no control per say but the guy wouldn’t give up the hold while both shoulder blades were indented for a long high school count and warnings from the ref

It’s illegal to put the head in the side in freestyle and Greco used to be at least and I think it still is so that kinda took away half the cradle game off the bat I am seeing way more these days though.

First fight between them, bajrang was touring continuously across continents in short period,so jetlags
Second fight- he got injured pre Olympics, didn't get proper support from federation,he too complained about it.
And most importantly fight before it ,he got a head wound which was raw and medical staff have made it worse sticking tape on it,so before time between previous fight and fight against yiani bajrang team was busy in dealing with it

I'd like to see how this match would have unfolded in a normal atmosphere - not one that was rigged for Yianni. The scorekeepers just add points for Yianni, and took Bajrang to notice it before they fixed it. There was a huge stall later in the match with Yianni. You can see Bajrang's coach telling them to hurry it up. Bajrang's endurance and conditioning is on another planet. It's impossible to beat him unless you stop to rest.
Bajrang is a 2x world champ and is constantly shifting between rank 1 and 2 in the world. Yianni isn't even in the top 20. Makes me laugh
it was scored wrong but if it was correct i had it yianni 9-8. it was 8-4 before that last exchange, bajrang rolls thru on the crotch lock, gets 2, another exposure for 2 but then yianni gets the reversal for 1 to win it
He was getting rest repeatedly that's why bajrangs coach was angry and that's why bajrang didn't do anything in last secs.

When you look through skewed eyes you can't see the truth. Had BP won the match it would have been totally correct. However, it went the other way all the BP supporters only see favoritism. BP did not look as if he had been cheated. BP acted with class and took the loss as it was called. Stop the whining, next time it could go the other way. NO FAVORITISM HERE! YD is a world class wrestler. At 13 he was wrestling college age men. He paid his dues and is now reaping the fruitage. Congrats to Yanni.
