Song: "Aqua Buddha" by Hexenhammer. I made it myself.
Love this stuff!
Hey, Styx, have you heard of Bohemia Mines and Bohemia Mt in Oregon? You should take a gander some time.
Styxhexenhammer666 Maryland next I hope?
You are a true Renaissance man.
Styxhexenhammer666 I am enjoying these videos as much as Vermont issues. (That’s a compliment) ooooo! Spooky music!
I always get this strange feeling when I'm in Gettysburg that I haven't gotten anywhere else.
If I ever became a ghost I would make it my mission to mess with people who don't believe in them in subtle ways.
Why subtle? If you want to convince a non-believer, the only way to do that is by leaving no doubt that ghosts are real. You'd need to literally spell it out in front of them, not leave room for alternative interpretations.
Lord of Fire - Gaslighting tactics of the narcissistic dead. 'You don't think we're real? 🖕! You don't even know what real is!'
I've been to Gettysburg many times (at night) and I still haven't seen anything. But I'll tell you this; the vibes were super creepy like people were watching you from all sides.....then I got pulled over by the park trooper for being out there past curfew....
I can personally vouch for Gettysburg being haunted. The place gave me the creeps.
Went ghost hunting in Gettysburg about 12 years ago and got something strange on video in the area between devil's den and big roundtop.
A friend of mine has communicated with a ghost in Gettysburg. Said he was a soldier in the New York regiment. I haven't seen any, yet. I live near there and visit.
Surprised he didn't mention Centralia! But then again, I think everyone already knows about it.
bonecanoe86 Is Centralia even haunted? I always thought it was creepy from being an abandoned mining town that's been sitting above a mine fire for 30 years.
You forgot Penn State University. Got a bunch of ghost stories. Frances Atherton, Schwaboo, the murder in the library stacks, the ghost walk.
Hogback Road! That's one road over from my grandparents old house. I never knew it was rumored to be haunted. I'm going to have to ask my father about this since he grew up there.
Coal breakers and mining areas across PA are all reported to be haunted by victims of cave ins and accidents. IE: Nanticoke Breaker has reports of the ghosts of three child workers that were crushed to death in the 20s.
DI used to work at the King George Inn as a dishwasher and a bus girl back in the 80's. Yes it IS haunted and I've seen apparitions on the second floor and in the stairwell leading up to the attic. When I would be doing the dishes at night,I would get that odd feeling someone was watching me,my hair would stand on end,and even had someone or something put pressure on my shoulder as if it ere a hand. It is now closed and sits vacant. They had great food though, back in the day.
As a resident of Gettysburg I can attest that it definitely deserves to be on your list
Siphon me, Styx!
PS: This video is the only notification I got today, out of all your uploads. Tsk tsk CZcams. Your system should prioritize less on removing stuff, more on getting it out!
Glow in the dark paint and tombstones. Oh what fun.
One time...... well ..... this one time..... I ate a Hershey Bar.
It had almonds ......... I think. And ..... well ....... I think it had a poltergeist in it or something.. because ... well...... it started talking to me through my stomach...... and then it flew out of my butt !
Once I had Nexican food, it had 4 poltergeists in it because it wouldn't stop flying out of my butt.
My parents grew up in the Moravian church back in their country. I know it was big in PA at one point.
Cthulhu has noticed the strange music and will awaken soon to locate it's source.
Uh? No Pennhurst Asylum?
Tick Tock Tick Tock I think he's avoiding the really know areas
NATHAN NEVILLE Fair enough. But as someone who’s been to PennHurst, before it became an attraction? Creepiest place I’ve ever been (broken in) to. Definitely should’ve been on the list.
He put Gettysburg on the list for fuck sake I don't think he's avoiding anything.
I've seen some pretty creepy shit in my home town. Most of those buildings have been condemned save for the old church across the woods from my house.
I live about 3 miles from Hogback Rd. It has a long history.
I live in broad top city pa like I can look out my window and see the cemetery and I never heard the dog thing but the glowing statue (it a statue of elton brock I believe the singer) I have heard but I haven't seen it I used to sit there at night for fun in my early 20s days
NATHAN NEVILLE I always heard it was a coyote that lived in the Erie Cemetery. Remember that summer that poor dear was stuck in there?
i dont know about that but in broad top a coyote could be a culprit expescally 50+ years ago the cemetery is right next to town but its also surrounded on 2 sides by woods and broad top is a small town of less than 500 people
NATHAN NEVILLE I do work for the municipal authority. Really quiet town. I like the VHS rental at the gas station.
One place in PA no one talks about that is very haunted is Valley Forge Millitary Academy. It is worth exploring. I would suggest a look into it and how the school covers it up to avoid issues with attendance.
Man I've been going to Hershey Park my whole life and have never seen a ghost, what a fuckin ripoff
Is there anywhere in New England that isn't haunted. Because I'm starting to get the impression that New England might be haunted everywhere.
Weehawken, New Jersey. That place is far too dull to ever be haunted.
The Northeast in general is steeped in european urban legend and hauntings. So is the Deep South!
Jon A what does Pennsylvania have to do with anything? We're talking about ghosts, not Vampires.
Victor Schramm that kinda sounds like a place where the soulless go to die.
Murakami I live in a part of the Deep South were the spirit of Bigfoot wards off the spooks and spirits. Its in the lower Ark-La-Tex area, so I think that might be why New Orleans has a disproportionately high supernatural population. You know, 'cuz all the spiritual refugees.
Oh and old Byberry. The main buildings were knocked down and a 55 + community built over the Tunnels. The amount of black magic done there in the 80's alone was epic. I was even accused while in high school back in 84 of being involved . However I don't believe in hurting anyone or thing ; despite knowing a little bit, very little, of stuff.
Gettysburg is haunted by half of Picket's division!
Great video. Hoping to see more haunted locations videos from you.
I would love to visit some of these old cemeteries.
I work at the Susquehanna County Courthouse. People had said there's a black apparition around the front courtroom foyer. I've been there at night alone and never saw a thing. Apparently it only appears to rumor-prone women.
If you think Gettysburg is disturbingly haunted (and it is), think twice before you climb the stairs and stand at the top of the pyramid in Chichen Itza, where the priests cut out the hearts of countless live human sacrifices.
Only other ones I’d add are:
Arcadia University - Red Room
Ghost Mountain
Centralia - Silent Hill
Eastern State Penitentiary
styx thank you for doing a video on the haunted sites of my home state.:)
I live 15 minutes away from Hogback Road In Hermitage PA and yes its true about what you see about it in this video.
Could you do a haunted locations video about Ireland?
In Wisconsin we have The Beast of Bray Road. Supposedly haunted by a Werewolf.(You should add it in your Wisconsin video)
You should have one of these with a track from The Ways of Yore
Keep them coming, can't wait for the Virginia one.
Gettysburg Pennsylvania, long purported to be one of the most haunted places on earth.
Well holy shit, big fan watch everyday and now my towns cemetery (Broad Top) is the first haunted place mentioned in the video. Nice coincidence. Styx did his homework
The Lamb Tavern in Springfield. 1729. Numerous apparitions reported by modern day employees. Similar with The Old City Tavern, 1773 in Philly.
A few years ago I worked at Chocolate World (right next door to the park on the same property), the whole property feels weird.
I live in Erie, PA. They all the mausoleum Dracula's tomb.
I used to go to Hershey Park every weekend. I was an orphan at Milton Hershey School. I never saw hide nor hair of Milton though. He was a good man. I doubt if his soul is trapped.
Brandywine valley, although I guess it might not make the top 12. There's a book on haunted Brandywine, and the woman that wrote the book sometimes gives speeches. I didn't know about it until after I had seen a lot of weird stuff in Glen Mills - I saw a shadow person peek around a corner, watched motion sensor lights go on one after the other when nobody was there, heard disembodied voices on multiple occasions, and I swear I saw a Union soldier walk across the parking lot, but by the time I realized what I saw and looked back, he was gone.
Guessing by the pattern Ohio is up next! Please make sure you include zombieland that’s a lit place same with iadora Park!
MY STATE!
Oregon next? We're haunted out here.
Soundtrack = Omg this must be real, let's investigate like the scooby team :)
Do a video on Georgia, if nothing else the Civil War Stories are endless and can be informative.
Will you be covering more states outside of New England?
PA is not in New England...
I was expecting to see Axe Murderer Hollow in Erie, but that was apparently bulldozed.
I used to hike on mount Nockamixon a lot... nothing creepy, but there is lots of graffiti.
Love the series , but Chestnut Frickin Ridge. It's a REAL frickin portal.
What about Scranton?
My girlfriend lives in Boyertown and she said she has seen some ghosts. I'll have to send her this.
I know a cure girl in Scranton.
Do you hold that apparitions are genuine, real, exist independent of the minds which perceive them?
Sorry not too related but PSA Sitch got a hate speech strike for criticism with satire of Farrakahn's videos and involvement in the women's march
I preferred the Minecraft videos. They were relaxing.
Hexenkopf road / rock , inside the Lehigh Valley area like the King George and Moravian . Cursed by German faith healers who "sent their sickness" into it. Some sect of heathen PA Dutch (Urglaawe) still are said to use the place.
Haha. Everyone is scared of ghosts. But little do they realize that skeletons already outnumber mankind. It's only a matter of time before they host their coup.
I used to own a castle there. But then I got bored and kinda starved and moved to... the cities.
lmao what? Hershey Park?
shieeet dis be ghosts n shit
Styx, do you believe you have a soul?
MAKE A VIDEO WITH YOUR HAIR TIED UP IN A MAN-BUN.
hardly a top 12, you missed some of the most haunted and notorious places. seems like you just picked some odd not so well known one's and went with. I live in PA and this is definitely not the top twelve.
worship me
Almost as scary as feminism.
I approve.
I came across this and was hoping you had heard of Saint Vincent College near Pittsburgh. Super haunted, built in 1700s, only bizentine monestary in NA, multiple weird deaths, multiple weird fires AND the monks are buried 3-4 deep in the cemetary with some crazy lore that if a certain number of buried monks is reached the end times start. Lots of crazy and creepy shit around that place.
