    Sunflower! Please know what your talking about.. Headlight washers were NOT an option, came standard up to late 1971.

    Not a ZR2. No radio and antenna was offered if you ordered the ZR2 package.

    I did not hear why it had 9:1 Comp Ratio stamped on the plate inside but title says LS^? Did I miss that?

      My guess is the ever-impending gas crisis that lowered compression across the board.

      Yes, for 71 GM ordered all compression ratios across the board lowered in preparation for the new unleaded gas that was hitting the market. In 1970 the LS6 had 11.25 to 1 compression and for 71 the maximum on any Chevrolet engine was 9 to 1 and it stayed that way for at least the rest of the decade.

      1970 Ls-6 was Chevelle- El Camino only 450 hp 11.25 compression cast iron heads. In 1971 LS-6 was Corvette only 9 to 1 compression but with 074 casting Smowflake aluminum heads.
