I had an exact copy of this beautiful Donneygreen as my first car back in 76!!but it came with an M-22 and 4.56 but stolen in 82

I was 8 back then but remember these cars running daily....most the "tough" muscle cars had the Muncie and 4.56 or 4.88 gears. With 55 mph speed limits it was doable. I ran a 70 Z28 daily...hundreds of miles round trip on Ca fwys 3.73 never once thought it needed OD. It was in its happy spot cruising at those speeds

When the hoopla over 435s finally subsides, the 70 LT-1 is the next $100,000 Corvette

Agreed but you can say that about so many classic muscle cars. I know it seems their value keep going up like crazy... it's called inflation. The actual value is not increasing. People have a hard time realizing this.
