My teacher once told me:
“You think it’s smoking that calms you down, when if fact, you’re physically removing yourself from a stressful situation by going outside, take deep breaths to calm down for 2-5 minutes, and go back inside ready to face the task again.”
I know that isn’t exactly true but it’s something to think about.

14 months clean from Heroin
Yeah here in Canada it used to say on the cigarette packs "smoking is more addictive than heroin or cocaine." And I thought yeah right, whoever said that clearly hasn't tried heroin. It's great at first but in the end you'll just be constantly trying to chase that dragon and you're not gonna catch it. You're tolerance will be so high after not long it will barely get you high anymore. It stops being fun fast but most people don't realize that in the begging and by the time they realize it, it is usually too late.
Petty Eddy so proud of you! you deserve it ♥️

I started smoking since my teenage. Got addicted to cocaine for over 23 years. Cocaine addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Greece. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
Hey! Yes Dr.alishrooms
I'm really happy for you that your wife decided to help you...I hear about alot of family members or so called friends shutting an addict out of their life, which since most addicts do it to mask emotions to me is the worse thing someone can do to an addict.

Assert dominance over cigarettes by t-posing at them when you want to smoke, throw one at the ground and T pose at it
You can get out of habits easier after a mushroom trip and get a different routine going, I couldnt even finish a cigarette afterwards because it almost made me throw up with how horrible it tasted.
after my trip yesterday, I did understand why mushrooms are praised... you can have some beautiful experiences on them..

Problem is, i use snus even after 5 mile run or 1.5 hour lifting sessions lol. i have even used so much snus that i bleed from my nose after going all out in my lifting session on the last heavy set.

This has been so inspiring. I haven't smoked for nearly three months now. I still get the odd craving, even after all this time. This video has put the urge to smoke, and the reasons not to smoke, into perspective for me. The Cigarette Whisperer makes really good sense and has probably saved, and will save, hundreds of lives.
I think the note on the pack, knowing that you don’t have to quit and knowing that going without is better than putting up with smoking, is the most powerful thing here.

Jadon Lam Congrats you got the joke
Lol 😂
Hey I'm just say'n
It wasn't easy for me to quit smoking. I quit everyday for 2 years. I used to think I am in control of my addiction, but I didn't realise how wrong I was. I would throw away almost full packs kto convince myself that I've quit) just to buy a pack again the next week.
I quit almost two years ago and I quit abruptly (rather than follow my planned "slowly lower your intake plan"). I decided one day that I had had enough and that I wasn't the strong person I thought I was. Been a hard journey but I can already see the benefits and the change in my life.
My message to anyone trying to quit smoking - Don't fool yourself by thinking you can quit. Just quit. That's the only way. Everting else is an excuse.
I completely agree with this message. Just quit. Don't play games.
I quited about 2 weeks ago.And still standing stable. I feel better everyday. Thanks to Allah.

I started doing physical exercises in a moderate pace and when I had built bit of physical endurance foundation, I than quit cold turkey and started to take my training up a notch and that made me feel real good. I was exercising, not smoking and automatically started to eat proper which helped in dealing with withdrawal symptoms.
Another important thing I did was to stop socializing because I knew that it would trigger me to smoke. I had to distance myself from my close mates and the ones who cared for me understood my reason.
Exercise, eat healthy and no socializing for 3 months was how I managed to beat the addiction. After 3 months, you will have bit of craving when you start socializing but you will be scared to smoke and after 6 months, you will no longer have any cravings.
Oooh this video got recommended to me after 2 years of my quitting. I stumbled upon this 2 years ago, made the card for my pack and forgot about this video altogether until today! (I was a smoker for a 1.5 years b4 quitting)

Next level introspection
That's very true. A lot of the time for me it's the fact that I don't have any that makes me crave it more. Once I know I have some, everything is ok again.
I've always quit cold turkey this way. I always have a pack of cigarettes and when i told people this, they always looked at me like i was insane. My biggest issue with quitting was not having any and wanting to head out to the shops for more so i figured, why not keep some around and that way im doing it because i want to rather than because i have to
He is a philosopher
I saved 10 the last time. Knowing they were there was very comforting for me.
I haven't cometely quit, I've cut way down, and what has helped me do that is the same thing he says about being conscious when you smoke - I was shocked that most of the time I smoke, it's not because I'm craving a cigarette, it's because I was not being conscious, like just out of habit. I relapsed when I was emotionally upset, because my mind was "busy" with my emotions, rather than thinking about what I'm doing, it's automatic.
Its crazy I smoked for 17 years and last month out of no where I finished my last one during work and said thats it and that was that. It was surprisingly very easy for me and I hope it is for any of you who give it up too!!

Before retirement I helped many of my patients quit tobacco, so it's important to keep in mind the need to SLOWLY STOP smoking. Hello There r/woooosh
Had my last cigarette a few hours ago and cleaned and put away my ashtrays. I've had coughing fits to the point of not being able to inhale or even laugh without coughing the last few days. My chest and ribs hurt and every cough caused sinus pain from coughing so hard. I'm DONE. I have plenty of patches and nicotine gum and even Chantix, I'm going cold turkey though. Stocked up on cough drops and going for it! Tired of coughing myself into a sinus headache and not being able to breathe.
Thank you for this powerful video. Inspirational.
it’s a Toshiba laptop that blur ain’t doing anything.
The point is that the blur is to stop them from showing the brand of the product without consent from the company, as well as not advertising the brand without a sponsor from the company. They don't even bother to blur it out at 3:53
They only blurred is a little
Onehappiness Happy lool

By day 2 his voice sounded so much better. You can hear it. I think everyone needs a support person when they quit smoking. I’m on day 8 smoke free.
*tobacco has left the chat*
I give props for ending the vid at 9:59. Big respect.

Why
Sara X bc if you have 10 mins u get a ton of ads and this isn’t 10 mins
Engie - Gaming ohhhhh
Engie - Gaming
I thought it was because for a video to be monitized and for you to get paid for it, the video had to be minimum 10 mins. So I didn’t get why people got mad if it was 10 mins like.. it’s their job haha
I wish amro a smoke free life. I know how hard it is to quit. Good luck man. 👍🏻
My mema, who is 70 years old, had a stroke only 3 weeks ago. The primary cause was from cigarettes, she had smoked for 55 years. Now, she doesn't have the left side of her brain, and questions everything and cant properly care for herself. She doesn't retain hardly any information, and it hurts to see. She is in need of constant reassurance on what to do. Whereas my Grandma who is 79 and didn't touch cigarettes acts as if she's only 50, she's strong and in great health. It's mind blowing to see the difference between them.
Can you get me on a diet in 3 days

That’s the mindset that helped me quit smoking. Whenever I just smoked “the last pack” and had none in house my body freaked out at next urge. So I had a pack handy and when the urge hit me I said to myself “They are right there, nothing special, smoke if you want” so that made the urge go away much better👍
The night and day complexion of this guy after only two weeks being smoke free is mind blowing. If that's not proof enough, I don't know what is.
When I quit smoking cigarettes (15 years) I always kept a pack of cigarettes on me for the first month. it was important to know I wasn't smoking despite the option to do so at all times.. Haven't smoked since. It's been 8 years.
Keep going
Did you gain weight??
And 8 years later, you still get cravings I bet.
3 weeks
congrats! Keep up the good work! Ignore craving and focus and your happy life!
The blurry Toshiba on the computer bothers me 😂
BrendonUrie MelanieMartinez omg I just noticed that when you type Billie autocorrect changes it to Billy ❤️❤️
The first buzzfeed video (outside of tasty and other food-related ones) that is good. Good job on this one.
Great video. I currently vape and can go days without it, however I feel irritable and moody once in a while. If I don’t dont have it, its easy to forget about it. I just crave a buzz under pressure, when I have a drink, wake up or after eating. When I do vape after a while, I feel kind of sick a immediately feel guilty for putting myself through it, but I end up buying another disposable one to keep around when I need a hit.
I’m going to start carrying a donut in my pocket

I quit smoking last year from 05.01.2020 to Juni... this happened after 8 years of smoking... and 5years had smoking a lot (30~ ziggaret on day)
And in Juni to now I'm smoking again... but less like 5 - 10 max on day .
I quit a year ago after a big battle against nicotine addiction for 15 years , i actually tried to stop before for 3 months but went back to nicotine, now im 1 year smoke free, what really convinced me to stop nicotine in all its forms is the fact that a non smokers mood is better then a smoker even while the smoker is smoking his cig and getting that buzz a non smoker is still feeling better unbelievable right?! I thought it was a joke and i said to myself let me quit smoking and find out and i can tell you this, me quitting nicotine is the best thing i ever did in my life i feel free i breath air instead of chemicals and smoke i feel very confident and my mood is very good dont get irritated or sad or angry quickly like when i was a nicotine addict, its amazing feeling i know you can do it just convince your mind and brain that nicotine brings stress and then traps you in a nicotine withdrawal stress your whole life if you dont quit
Plot twist: he was smoking all along when the cameras were off
Right 🤣

? Can someone explain this ? Is this an adsense thing?
Jacky Arenas yes
@@Jackie-jf2hy yes if your video is 10+ min it will have an ad
If the video is 10+ min. the video doesn't need to have add or anything, no videos have to. But if the video is 10+ min. you can get alot more adds, and you get more money per add..
250 subs with no videos do you mean under 10 min
I recently quit smoking. Soon to be three months now. It has not been a easy journey especially being around smokers. I woke up one day after 14 years of smoking ciggerettes and said I'm done. No support no cheats , just me myself and I. The worst Is the agitation. I felt alone. But I see changes my breathing is so much better. The color of my lips getting rosy again. I don't smell like ciggerettes unless someone smokes my way. It does agitate me because I walk away but they follow. My workouts I feel I have more control. I don't stop every five minutes to smoke. Saved tons of money from not buying packs. I am going to keep going. The beginning was super difficult I bought Lolly pops to keep myself occupied. My sleep was none existent. And I was sluggish. I kept on working out. And telling myself that I can do this. I was not able to breathe for a while. Now I'm starting to feel more like myself and it was worth it. Even if no one understood or supported me at the time I'm proud that I stopped. I wanted to stop to run a marathon for cancer and mental health. I need to set better examples. And I wanted to make sure that I would not Wheeze through the runs. I set many goals But quiting ciggerettes is the biggest challenge I faced. I set myself that goal. And I feel free . I had to change my mindset I failed many time before I found what was right for me.
Funny he says to keep the cigarettes around bc The first time I was trying to stop smoking & I used the patch & I forced myself not to smoke it made it worse and I ended up smoking again but if I told myself that I could have a cigarette and I still have that pack of cigarettes around me I ended up not smoking. It does work .
