The mount I have has 3 holes that mount into one stud, it didn't come with toggle bolts as it was meant for wood studs or concrete. I saw in your response to another comment you can still just use the toggle bolts, but is it safe to do that on just one metal stud ?

Hello! I’ve got a tv wall mount which was designed for wood studs and concrete wall. I live in a condo with metal studs. I’ve also purchased a kit with titanium drill bits and everything you used in this video. Now I wonder if it’s safe to use the wall mount on metal studs when it was designed for wood studs?

Yes just use the toggle bolts instead of the lag screws that come with it

2 metal studs, full motion tv mount. 55" tv. Will it hold with 4 or 6 toggle bolts?

Thank you! have you ever encountered an issue where one of the four toggle bolts won't screw in after being placed in the wall? The first three toggle bolts went in smoothly, and their corresponding screws were easy to secure. However, the fourth bolt is giving me trouble.
I've tried three times with this one hole, and I've verified that there are no obstructions like pipes behind the wall. I can thread the toggle bolt with the screw outside the wall without any issues, but as soon as I place it in the wall and try to screw it in, it feels like the threading on either the screw or the toggle might be bent, preventing it from securing properly. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

@@senortrolls2617 make sure that the toggle is all the way in and straight laying flat to the back side of the metal stud if that makes sense and always hand thread before hitting with drill.

Didn’t work. Did a 1/2” drill. Inserted toggle bolts. Now the screws are too small for the 3/16 hole. Idk man. I followed every single instruction.

Did you use the screws that came with the toggle bolts? Make sure they thread in before you install. The only thing else wrong is if you didn’t get your zip ties straight before you snapped them. Those make sure the thread is straight in the wall so you don’t break off the thread or cross thread. When in doubt look in the wall before breaking tabs off to see threads

You definitely edited this video! I’ve mounted on metal studs before and a cordless drill definitely doesn’t drill through metal that fast.
