I don't think I have ever seen an actor be this kind and respectful of family members ( of someone they are portraying ) and wanting approval from them before.. He seems like such a kind and caring man.

@@crazy4corbinbleux this is NOT the video to be commenting this on. Lisa Marie does remember Elvis, how do I know this? 1. She’s talked about SPECIFIC memories she’s had with him and 2. I lost a family member when I was Lisa Marie’s age at the time of Elvis’s death (she was 9 and I was 9). I still remember that family member and I’m in my mid 20s. Also, Michael Jackson was all about spreading love and supporting people. Why can’t you just be happy that the film is successful? We’ll have to wait and see how Michael Jackson’s nephew portrays him. Also, Austin was hospitalized for a week after wrapping filming on this movie because if how much of himself he gave to this role, do not discredit that.
He gave the world such a gift. Elvis was such a beautiful soul. That Austin was able to introduce Elvis to people again to bring such joy is a great gift to us from Austin. God Bless You.

PS: Lisa Marie loved Michael and knew him!! She actually does not even remember her father since he passed away when she was so little :( OUCH. I know Elvis fans don't like to hear that one, but it's the truth!

@@crazy4corbinbleux Lisa Marie had many sweet memories of her father. After her parents divorce, Lisa stayed w/ her dad a lot. She also attended his Vegas shows. Most of the time they show pictures of her when she was under 3 yrs but I know there are a lot of family photos of them when Lisa was older. She was 9and a half when he died. Priscilla saw a picture/video of him and had very little hope this thin young man could embody Elvis, and all he was.
She said he got EVERY small movement and speech inflection perfectly. And he had Elvis’s soul, she could feel it.

Austin brought Elvis to us in an amazing way. I hope he is always who he is as a person and finds happiness within himself. Hollywood offers many paths. The time he had with Lisa Marie will be with him forever.
The one scene that really got to me was Elvis grieving the loss of his beloved Mama. The way Austin played it made me believe he wasn't just acting. His mother died of cancer when he was 23, the same age Elvis was when Gladys died.

I saw the movie at a preview screening months before the movie was released. I was blown away with Austins performance and the sets. The lengths to get things right were over the top, they dressed all the audience at the 68 special in the same clothes the people at the actual show wore..the pink cadillac was not just pink it was painstakingly matched to the actual cars exact shade of pink, the Graceland interiors had exact copies of that found at Graceland
It brings tears listening to you talk about Lisa Marie. I'm glad that she was in your life even if just for a brief time. You're a very special person Austin and I would really like to be a friend and get to know you better.
