But your husband and your daughter gave you the best chance in getting you to people who will work on the pathogens and strengthen your immune system to again start to recognise malignancy and attack it straight away. Rome wasn’t built in a day and this may be your new normal for the rest of your life but praying it keeps continuing to work for you and that in time you can resume a more normal way of life. Lilly, Your Mom knows what she is saying. Her words are still positive and she still is a joyous person and loves you and your family dearly. I am so thankful for Gigi❤️
In this video she has mild aphasia. It has been worse than this. Before I only showed the times when she was doing well but she has been like this I would say about 40% of the time since it all started. It's been exhausting beyond words and it has taken such a huge physical tole on me and George. Chloe as well but she has been dealing more with the business in Idaho which has its own set of challenges. You can still see mom's loving and encouraging spirit in this video and that makes me happy.

I hope you don't mind me saying this, and please know that it comes from a place of wishing to help... Your mum has a beautiful hair colour, and I'm wondering whether she uses chemical hair dye on it..?
I have dyed my hair for many years, but stopped about 2 years ago, one reason being concern about what affect the chemicals might be having on my body. I really miss my lovely (dyed) hair colour (now almost completely grey ☹️) but I decided to trade that in in preference to the possible damage the hair dye may have been doing to my body.
If your mum's hair colour is natural, or she uses natural hair dye (if there is such a thing...) then that's wonderful, and in that case please ignore my comment.

my mom passed away 5 years ago it still feels like it ripped my heart out of my soul . i was so close to my mom and would take her to all her dr appts . i still cannot believe she is gone i have moments where i just break down . i’m so sorry for ur loss ladies it’s so hard and Christmas and Mother’s day are my hardest holidays to get thru .

Exactly this. The words come out wrongly, but she knows what she wants to say, for sure. Take comfort in that Lilly. It may sound confusing and making no sense when she talks, but it's just words being mixed up and the difficulty for her to get the right ones out. I must say yours and your sisters response to what she says is👌, no corrections or asking her what she means, to put pressure on her, just listening and agreeing.❤️
My Mother died from brain cancer. I am praying for your Mother, that she has a better outcome than my Mother. The steroids changed my Mother's personality, and so I wanted to warn you that on steroids, it is not them. Steroids can make them mean and emotional. It was the hardest thing I have been through. I am praying for your Mother.

That's not true. The only steroids that do that is hormonal steroids like ones people use for homosexuality and to get pumped at the gym, *Anabolic steroids*. Anabolic steroids, commonly called "roids," juice, hype or pump, are powerful prescription drugs. They are controlled substances that people abuse in high doses to boost their athletic performance.

My momma passed of the same glioblastoma tumor when I was 18. She was the most beautiful godly soul and I miss her tremendously but now I’m 47 and she is in heaven with Jesus singing her hyms. Keep her positive and surrounded with love and uplifting worship music to listen to. That nasty tumor starts to pushes on the senses that’s when it gets hard. She lost her eyesight, speech and then finally her hearing but kept her bible on her lap till her last breath. It’s okay! She is going to the most glorious place healed loved and renewed body just like my mom did. Cherish each moment down to the very minuscule things. Positive and keep praying! I’m Prayingfor Gig as she goes through this process that it’s peaceful and she is surrounded with love

It is a horrible journey to go through, wonderful that you are together and supporting each other.
Gigi is very blessed to have a family that loves her deeply. One thing that crossed my mind while watching this was Chloe crying while holding the baby. Up until the age of 7 children are absorbing and learning (subconscious). I know I wished I was more aware of this when my kids were growing up. I know now and when they are going through something now I give them the back story of when they were too young to remember to help them now. Bless your loving family, so heart warming.

When someone is battling an illness such as this, why do people comment about how their relative passed away from the same or similar illness? I find that odd. How does that help the person who’s battling the illness? Where’s the positivity?
Can someone enlighten me? Am I missing something? How does “my mom died from that same illness 3 years ago” help Ms Gigi continue to have a positive outlook?
My guess is they are letting Lilly know they have gone through the whole process which is very difficult. They want her to know she isn't alone in that sense. Unfortunately, the outcome for this overall isn't good so I don't think many do have a happy result which explains why we don't hear too much about that.. I don't think that those that are commenting are being mean I think they truly care and want Lilly to know she isn't alone and is supported in spirit. I'm sure it is meant in a kind way even though I get what you are saying too.

My cousin was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February 2024. Her tumor is treatable but not curable. She is 48. We are all working as a family and God is our foundation!
Bless her heart!!! I completely support the non hospital environment...if her prognosis is a finality...then let her (even with her episodes) be with her family and loved ones..kept comfortable and happy with all the dignity she deserves!!! xo

Your mom is so beautiful and brave. My mother had this exact same cancer with the same symptoms. She went from completely healthy to having trouble finding her words. I remember her calling me and I told her it was probably just some anxiety. It was stage 4 inoperable glioblastoma. She had 3 months and passed peacefully for which we were grateful. Its great your moms tumor is shrinking! Best wishes to you and much love.

Something to keep in mind. Seizures can be a way for the brain to make itself make connections again, in other words a form of healing but often the seizures are treated and the treatment for seizures can be devastating and deadly. You’re wise to stay away from the hospital. I really have grown so fond of your mother and I know she’s going to pull out of this because you guys are going to go holistic. God speed

Gigi seems like a wonderful woman and it’s unfortunate she’s going through this but be comforted in knowing God can’t give you more than you can handle, this too shall pass and hopefully a miracle awaits her❤
It is the beautiful interaction and love I got from this that warmed my heart as a mother. I also found this very educational to learn about aphasia. We all need to be prepared for these things and Lilly asking her these simple questions but being positive through it was very inspiring and touching 🙏🏻

My husband was just in the hospital for brain swelling (from his brain mets) that caused an inability to follow simple commands and he was “nutso”. He started on IV steroids, 3 days later he was back to himself. But oh my G, it was hard to help him when he was so defiant. At the hospital, they ended up restraining him physically and chemically because he was so out of control! It seems we are on similar courses. God be with us and prayers to you all. Thy will be done, I give it all to God, our Savior.
