    It might be hard to understand why the closer you get to Allah, the more tested you are? Yet, being tested is truly a sign of His love and the harder the test, the greater the reward 🤍
    May Allah grant you ease and sabr through whatever you're experiencing and may He reward you with the highest ranks of Jannah for never giving up on your faith 🤲🏻

    The idea of being tested used to get my blood boiling. Why would Allah SWT allow this kind of pain in my life when he knows everything already?! Then it occurred to me when I became a practicing Muslimah, that I needed to know it - too my core! SubhanAllah ☝

    You are adding value to Muslim women so keep doing the good job and don’t despair. I would like you to cover if possible a
    Topic about how to educate kids about Islamic values so they hold onto their faith especially in a non Muslim country and share with us any ressources about this thank you may Allah bless you and grant you to catch laylatou l9adr

      Ameen sis wa iyyaki, thank you for your comment! I'm not a parent so I'm not sure if I'm the best person for this but I'm noting this down and will think about a way to cover this topic insha'Allah - if not in video, then on my podcast!

    I come back to this when I need to remind myself of Aakhirah and when it is time for self-introspection. Btw 15:47 that one person could be me, may Allah reward you and gather us in Jannatul Firdaus without Hisab and Kitab.

    I want to ask why do muslims romanticise suffering? Cant we think positively about Allah? Too many videos talking about suffering and tests. I understand this is the dunya but seriously we need more optimism. Im going through so much depression and not finding help in islam at all. There are literally no videos talking about positivity or happiness its only ever saddness or trials.

    • @TheMizaan
      @TheMizaan  Před 4 měsíci +33

      If that's what you got from the video, then you completely missed the point and need to reframe your thinking sister. You should ask yourself what is positivity and happiness to you instead of blaming others for "romanticising". If you want the mainstream definition of happiness, all you have to do is go on social media and watch influencers showcasing their perfect houses, perfect bodies, perfect families, perfect lives.
      Optimism as Muslims is about accepting the trial is hard and then remembering all the blessings it actually holds. With hardship comes ease. It is about being grateful for the good and the bad, THAT is thinking positively about Allah. We have plenty of stories of people who went through terrible things but by showing sabr and tawwakul, ended up getting more than expected - just look at the prophets.
      The more you study Islam the more you realize that tests are a way for us to detach ourselves from this dunya and therefore to be happy in ALL situations. Happiness in Islam isn't about how much you have but rather being content with whatever you're granted. Optimism doesn't come from saying 'Oh wow I'm a Muslim and everything is going well in my life', because trust me if one has no trials then they should really worry. The sahabas (may Allah be pleased with them) used to CRY when they weren't tested because they thought Allah forgot about them. Because when you have it all in this dunya then you just lose sight of what actually matters, trials are for you to remember that this life is worth nothing to Allah so it shouldn't be to you either.
      Blaming Islam, Allah or Muslims for the way you feel will certainly never help you and that ties in with my previous video: your ego is your worst enemy in this. The less positive you are about Allah and His Qadr, the less blessings will come your way and you will just be stuck in that way of thinking. And if you're heavily struggling with depression, Muslim mental health specialists like Ruh or Amaly can help you.
      May Allah calm your heart and keep you on His path.
