Is milk good or bad ? | Dr Pal

  • Milk is a good source of protein. However, i’m seeing a lot of patients not able to tolerate milk these days when they go beyond 30 years of age. This is related to the enzyme lactase deficiency. These patients could enjoy milk by using lactase tablets before taking daily products.
Milk contains tryptophan which releases serotonin which will promote melatonin for good sleep. However, timing is crucial. The most important concept is that drinking milk at night just before going to bed will trigger insulin release because of the carbohydrates present in the milk which will disturb the circadian rhythm. If you want to drink milk, please drink 2 to 3 hours before going to bed and not just before.

Hey Doc what a way to teach about milk and Lactose Your friend must be eating Glucose biscuits( Britannia!) that is why he seems to have become Bright!- Brite??🤣 Wow you 9 planets analogy going round the galaxy - comparison given for the loose motion diarrhea and dysentery happening in the stomach after drinking milk before bed is excellent and a modern way of looking at things!! Our fore fathers were drinking before bed a cup of warm milk which induced good sleep more so with honey added to it instead of sugar - how ? Didn’t they know about the harm?? I think it was because they we’re having fresh milk both milked twice a day and most from one cow! If different cow’s milk they get also they or the milk man was not combining two milks But these days milks from many cows are collected and pasteurized- heating to a high temperature and suddenly cooling ( ostensibly to keep all the nutrients and the Shelf life and refrigerated and sent in refrigerator trucks the next day and distributed and we buy and again refrigerate them - hence O think all these digestive issues are happening as also cold coughs- lung problems . We also encourage children to drink cold milk or coffee!!
Secondly the habit of injecting harmones into the cow to give more milk is also a culprit for all these digestive issues and biological changes coming sooner more so in Girls and to a lesser extent in boys - the girls attain puberty very soon even before they are 10 years of age!! Which might end up in tragedies like the girl tortured and killed by her own elder brother even though he was married and the wife was egging him on - they suspected that she has been sleeping with someone- just a small 7/8 year old girl which has stirred a lot of controversy in the nation!!- many may know about!! In my opinion these pasteurization milk should be stopped and people must go back to the olden days of going and getting milk freshly milked from the cows and thus saving themselves and their families from all negative issues that have been recently attributed to milk by modern studies and promoters , in my humble opinion!! If people don’t agree it is ok- any positive or negative comments are welcome - well explained!! 😜🫢😭😍 Shaaantha Baalakrishnan

Ohhh, they are probably right, if you consume anything containing lactose (dairy products like cheese, milk, paneer, etc. Basically anything made from milk). This is because your stomach doesn't produce lactase anymore since you stopped drinking milk at 7, making you lactose intolerant. Had you never stopped drinking milk, your stomach would have still produced lactase, and you wouldn't have been lactose intolerant. But don't consume dairy products now, including milk, since it's not gonna make you produce lactase anymore and will just cause digestive issues to you.

Guys.. May I say here, about my past experience..
I used to drink milk, just for one month, during my class 8 th summer vacation..
When I entered 9 th std,
I was admitted in hospital for one month, due to increase in count & Astma attack..😢
I'm an asthma patient for more than 18 yrs😢.. & Using inhalers for 15yrs..
But I never had such an asthma attack earlier.. Doctor told me that, the main reason for such an asthma attack is due to milk consumption, especially consuming it late at night...
    &
The most pain full thing is that after that one month of hospital treatment, i was having several gastro reflex issues..
For 4 yrs I suffered from acidity..
😢Actually, the main cause for this suffering is that, for nearly one year, I used to lay in bed just after eating dinner..
Just after eating food, I used to sleep for 10-15 minutes & then I go for studing.. But I was unaware of the upcoming consequences😢...
So.. Friends, It's my request to please avoid same mistakes which I have done...
By grace of god, My acidity problems have reduced.. But still sometimes I'm having some gastric related problems &ulcers in mouth 😢...
Prevention is better than cure.. 🙏🏽🙏🏽...
Dr.. Pal sir.. I don't know whether u would have time to read my comment 🙏🏽.. Please pin this comment🙏🏽..
Lots of love from kerala, sir🙏🏽..
    May God bless u abundantly..❤
