"Rock of Ages" was my introduction to Def Leppard and to a large extent, the harder side of Rock and Roll. The whole Pyromania album is good. I like "Photograph" a lot as well.
If you've listened to "Pretty Fly For a White Guy" by Offspring, yeah, they copied that first little bit from this song ;)
The entire Hysteria album is seriously great. "Hysteria" is an amazing song from there as is "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and the rest... "Animal", "Love And Affection", etc.

I'm a Supernatural fan from the start in 2005. This song has been a part of the fandom for 15 years and counting. The show used it in the season 5 finale when the lead character faces off against the devil. Every time this song starts... I think of Supernatural. 😁
What made it doubly endearing ot me is that I was a long-time fan of Def Leppard since the 80s! So when the song showed up in Supernatural it just made me love the show even more.

Their drummer list one arm and the band DID NOT replace him. They waited for him to learn to play with over arm and his feet. That says A LOT about their character. The determination of their drummer is outstanding.

THAT, young man, was the best reaction to this song. Well done, thank you for this upload.
I was looking for reactions to some of my most influential songs growing up, and I'm so glad I picked your reaction.
This too, was my first exposure to Def Leppard, however, It was 1983, I was 8, and in the 3rd grade.
It was my older brother's vinal. He was the biggest influence, music wise, and Def Leppard being my first favorite rock, but as I grew, my taste got a bit more aggressive (Pantera, Metallica, White Zombie) which turned me into a metalhead later in life. But I have Def Leppard to thank, for my first step in my metalhead journey.
That "Gunter Glieben Glauten Globen" at the beginning of the song, is what caught my young impressionable mind. The phrase means nothing, but oh so much to me. And a Def Leppard fan was born.
Just a bit of knowledge, the phrase is how the producer counted down the band, the band liked it, and kept it in the song.
    Thanks again young man.
You but a smile on my face, with your reaction.

You can't go wrong with anything from the first 3 Def Leppard albums. When their first album hit the shelves the oldest member of the band was 17. When this song dropped they were still in their teens.

One of my favorite memories was this song blaring through the speakers while my 16 year old self sat in a *packed* topless Jeep Wrangler that was cruising town. Everyone played the entire album (on cassette tape) over and over that summer. "Too Late For Love" was another great one to hear while the wind was blowing through your hair on hot summer nights.

Def Leppard is a British Heavy Metal band. They could also be classified as a Hard Rock band. They had a lot of hit records and music videos during the 1980s and early-1990s. The group are inductees in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
