I like how the crowd sings "through it all" but Capaldi sings "foo it all".
Yeah I've heard that too in other live video of him. Is it just because his accent or there's other meaning about that "foo it all"?

That mostly affects female vocalists. Male vocalists typically are a lot closer to their studio recordings from what I can tell.

This performance gives me goosebumps and makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time I hear it. It’s really special. So much music nowadays is watered down, auto tuned nonsense. This is real talent. Also very emotional when you connect it to someone you’ve lost in your life who meant a lot. Capaldi wrote an absolute classic.
This is the best performance he did with this amazing song shows how tired he is of constantly singing it .. Fab ..

This song is SO difficult to sing, he does it extremely well but this is one of those songs with a chorus/final verse that requires recording a couple lines at a time

I just googled that as I wasn’t sure. I’m from Edinburgh too but hadn’t heard this. So I ended up googling the wrong name - Phil Capaldi, instead of Peter. Phil Capaldi is the Dad of the kids I used to childmind 😂 and I got no results and thought you’d made that up 🙄😂
