When He sings after that it's raw emotion, he's channeling whatever bullshit happened and it becomes real. the new one feels like he's' trying to recreate this moment but four years do alot to tame emotions.
I don’t know if it makes sense, but I like this a bit better because in the official song, he sounds a little too perfect. In this, it’s like he’s reliving the circumstances that led to the creation of the song, it sounds more emotional.
