That Idea about being a Clone Vet and having a fleet of Republic Ships sounds awesome especially with how great the Venator class ships are

Thepic Anominasis kinda looked like the old Sith ships
It's a Leviathan Interdictor-Class Cruiser that the sith empire used in the old republic days.

It is, specifically, an Interdictor-class Cruiser (not to be confused with the Galactic Empire's Interdictor-class Star Destroyer). Power-wise, it was about as strong as a Victory-II with the functionality of an Immobilizer 418, or so Wookiepedia says. It would be awesome if they added it to the mod, nevertheless some other Old Republic Era ships.
The reason your turrets weren't firing at 31:00 was because you had them set to attack my target, but you were targeting the Venator, which was friendly. They started firing when you targeted the enemy ship.
i think the wreck that was found at the beggining of the episode was a ship that was in the knights of the old republic used by maliks sith empire which was being built by the star forge im pretty sure thats what that ship is
Interdictor class cruiser, and first of class and flagship was named Leviathan.

Well... I did it.
I wanted you to know, sir, that thanks to you... I just purchased the "X Bonus Box" from Steam, which includes all of the X, X2, and X3 Games + X3 Expansions. Including Albion Prelude!
Now, I godda go through your video description and get all of the kick-ass mods that you're running in both your earlier Let's Play, and from this video as well. I'm completely new to the X series though, so I am worried about figuring out how everything works.. Luckily, I have your videos as a guide to show me what I need to do in order to get individual features to function properly.
Thank you very much Shack. If not for your videos about the X3AP Star Wars mod, and the game in general, I would never have known about how cool it is, and never would have taken the time to buy, download, and play it. :D

Shack the Twilight was a G-9 Rigger light freighter. I'm excited to play this. I think I'll wait till the 1.0 version like you are. The clone trooper start looked pretty good, but I think I will have to go with the imperial officer start. The Raider class corvette looked awesome. I'm thinking the corvette with a squad of TIE Defenders would be pretty awesome. I'd also have Lamda class shuttle to pick up loot. Yeah that sounds good. Thanks Captain.
I'd love to see a a continuation (or as much as you could) of the last one by bringing in the stuff you already have.
The ship wreck in the veteran start is actually from Kotor, it was the capital ships produced by the star forge that Malak/Revan used.
The Clone era fleet idea would be AWESOME
You can get like 1 Venator, 2 or 3 acclamators, some V-wings, Y-wings, Z-95s, LAATs, and that maybe it but just an idea
I would honestly like to see the clone start in the actual series. But if you really want to it is up to you. Cause i would still like to see the interdictor you were gonna capture. Or even better the imperial commander to see star destroyers which is amazing! :D But good work shack! Love the x3ap and all other videos.
I just downloaded this game, I very much enjoyed watching your last series and I want to take that Interdictor.
I think a clone vet campaign that has its own rebel cell would be really cool
Hey man, wheres the rest of the series? I loved it so far I want to see what happens! unfortunately I'm going to miss out on the steam deal on all the X's at the moment but I'm going to get this and the mod.
The ship in the beginning is the Leviathan class, Interdictor Battle Cruiser from KoTOR. Built by the Star Forge I believe.
More episodes please I love this when I get off work
in all honesty, when 1.0 comes out, you should not do rebels. i know they are the good guys and everything, but in my opinion, the ships are a bit boring... besides the x-wing, a-wing, and y-wing. i suggest imperial or republic

the wreck is a Interdictor-class cruiser from the Jedi civil war it was probably destoryed around 3957 BBY. The creator of it would most likely be Darth Revan who used the Star Forge to make it. That class of ships were used by the Jedi that turn to the dark side. It was probably destoryed by the sith empire when revan sent it out to explore the unknown regions.
That Raider Class corvette you spanwed with in the Imperial start was from the non-canon table top game, Battlefront II made it canon.
The Terran Quasar is based on the old EU design, while the Imperial one is based on the new canon SW Rebels version.
I can't wait for this series!!!How long do you think the update will come out so you can start the series. (P.s. I think you should become a Clone deserter that captures abandoned ships from the clone wars to build up a fleet so you can make your own pirate nation that only does things for them selves) Love the videos

I highly recommend checking out the Imperial Gozanti Carrier ship, then docking a couple of ties to it. I'm sure you will like what you see.
You start off with the Twilight and a T-16 skyhopper, last time I checked. I would LOVE to see you play the merchant and build the TF.

Awesome, I've been waiting to hear for you about this. I also love the idea off a rebel cell. However, I have not seen the terran campaign either... It is up to you. I vote either Rebel cell or Imperial commander. Maybe start off your cell with one capital ship such as a correlian corvettte if you start as rebels? :)

My vote is for either continuing the rebel cell or the imperial command start (if you continue the rebel cell, I would prefer you spawn in the ships you had, less time for you to grind, more time for us to enjoy you doing what you do best)
I'll play this mod so hard once it gets to 1.0! I played a ton of X3 TC when I was younger - I didn't realy understand anything back then but that didn't detere me from dumping my hollidays into trading solar cells and exploring the galaxy until I could afford a solar power plant which I did not know how to run sustainably. Best memories :')

Please, seriously, man, you've got to resume( once X3AP: v1.0 becomes avail, or even before, if at all possible ) because you left of at the BEST part where your marines were finally fully trained to take over that abandoned Interdictor. Shared your bloody excitements and disappointments through the gains and losses, knowing you've spared your viewers much hardships of the long, mundane, uneventful grinding minutes and hours rhat you edited out of the recordings. Yeah, much appreciated because I remember those gaming unexciting "grinds"! Oyyy!
Anyhoo, now we'll never know if it really possible those long many hrs you and us waited for your jar heads to really take over that Interdictor. Damn. I never thought I needed to check for play through completion of this X3AP: SWs Rebel Alliance series since I had quietly followed your play through "Homeworld2: Remastered Desert of Karak and H2R and H3R prior to this. I have 53 owned game titles in my old Steams account that I haven't touch over 4yrs. I truly can only afford to play vicariously through a few youtube gamers hosts because irl time constraints etc, won't let me play effectively with full hardy immersion fun as you've demonstrated.
So, yeah, I'm feeling like a very supportive Exec Officer agreeing with your superb, dedicated, upbeat comical styles of play and strategies in all things from Ep.1-Ep.13 98-100%(not knowing there's no Ep.14)and felt a strong "kicked of disappointment" after sharing those many hours seeing all your build-ups of the Rebel Alliance's ships, economy, training troops, going along with everything to be thrown out the window at the best part - the CRUX rhe creme dela creme!
Yep, long winded just to vent some disappointments on an unfinished great masterpiece works you've poured into this. Don't let it end there.

hey shack you know 1.0 has been released right? should we be expecting the new series to be starting any time soon?
Update 9.9.9 is comming out today, so it will probably not be updated to 1.0 for a while, maybe towards summer 2018.
Couldn't you start a small series until that? I really want to see this game again :)
You should start your new game as the clone and use the improved races mod so you can take over sectors and make your own faction with all different types of ships Republic, CIS, etc. Then once your fleet is large enough start wars with smaller factions. Then once your fleet is very powerful go after the Rebels and Empire. And maybe make a rule to where you cant ally towards the Rebels or Empire.
I would be soo down for a Rise of the Republic type playthrough

the best series i've loved to watch every episode. i'm thinking. (because i also know how slow the start can be) maybe use cheats to get up to where you feel comfortable with a modest start around where you left off?

hmm did the 0.9.77A patch take away a couple of those starts or do they get unlocked from playing through others first? i just downloaded the mod plus the patch and i dont see nearly as many starts as you have.
Shack as you go and fight for Imperials in battles the story will pick up. First high command calls you to their base on the moon and then when you get there the make you do classified mission stuff, like hunt stolen tech. They give your a base location and you hunt from there. This was in Imperial conscript so I have no idea if its the same for commander.
Go back to the Rebel Campaign in 1.0 and spawn in all of your units again. That's what I would love to see also the clone wars Idea is a fun one.

when you do the campaign you should do it stelarsis style with your intros, but have it be captains logs

Hey shack wanted to say that I think that when you start your series it would be cool for you to use some ships later in your game from the old republic era, The Valor class cruiser, hammerhead, etc. anyway just something I thought would be cool and look forward to seeing what you do
did he fix the imperial issue with boarding. imperial ships before had massive issues trying to cap other ships

The Ship at 4:25 seems to be the Rogue Shadow which is the ship of Galen Marek (Starkiller)
it says that the codea weapons systems library is required, is it included in the download? Also Empire or Clone mandolorian.
Start as the Imp commander and follow there orders for a little then turn warlord, you could roleplay the disaffected Imperial officer. Depending how you go you could team up with some rebels, opening up the rebel ships for viewers/patreons. You could then build your own production facilities for ties. Patreons could be ship or Tie D captains and the rest could be Tie, bomber, advanced, strike, etc. Would showcase the terran storyline and freeplay with your own fantastic roleplay.
So what do you use to play X3AP? Should I use a keyboard, joystick, or a 360 controller?
Also for some reason when using a joystick with X3AP for me it is entirely unresponsive, even though it wasn't when I first used it. Does life just hate me or what?
Your X3 AP vids got me hooked on this game! I'm playing the Starwars mod 0.977 and am eating it up. I'm running fleets of Boa (Mandalorian version of the Magnetar) loaded with cheap fast fighters to smash the Xenon sectors. They are cheap and throwaway lol. Anyways I can't find me a CR90 Corellian Corvette anywhere... You wouldn't happen to know what shipyard or sector builds them would you?
Where do I get the ship spawner mod. I started with the got the 1.0.65 patch/ update. "cheat menu" doesn't seem to exist. is it separate from the star wars reborn mod? or was It attached?

also i noticed in a previous video in this series he had a mod installed that let him order ships with componants installed automatically with a surcharge , what mod is that and where can i find it?
Shack if you start the next let's play with everything you had before don't forget the Interdictor you were going to capture.
Also it would be cool if the Venator had a mass deploy mode that opens the top hanger and anything docked comes out all at once or just deploys faster. Does it have access to the blue beam weapon from the bottom hanger?

So can I just buy terrain conflict to play this mod or do I need to get prelude as well.

I'm usually a rebel guy, but the Imperial command start might be what I use when 1.0 comes out. I've been doing a neutral faction salvage fleet in my current save with what is right now 3 X-wings, a Nebulon-B and a Gallofree transport
You should totally do the Mandalorian start. Become Mandalore and bring back the Mandalorian Empire!!!

It'd probably never happen, but you could always do a CIS play through ;) I'm in love with basically all their ships
The cheat menu also lets you turn on unlimited Laser energy, which is way more immersive for Star Wars, especially fighters
is this going to be a total conversion, ie system names, maps ect or is it just the ships and sound effects?
which x3 game should i buy? i want to play with the star wars mod.. but not sure which game is the most newest and it seems like 1-2 of those ''games'' are more like DLC but sold seperate?.. weird.

Either clone start or resume from where you were with a greater focus of on income so you can do the naming thing

You could do a merchant play through until 1.0 and then "retire" . You could basically be the pentastar alignment or something an use old clone wars tech to protect shipping lanes.

I believe its the numpad controls on the right side of your keyboard but don't quote me on that.

Are you planning to use that mod that allows races expand and conquer sectors? As for the start, the best choice seems like maybe starting with the Republic start, joining the Empire and using a mixture of Imperial and Republic ships, so that you can still get your Republic on and we have the massive swarms of Ties for the viewers, as well as having better higher tier ships for Patrons (rebel capital ships are crap), and you can complete the Terran storyline finally. I watch whatever you do though, since for all intents and purpose you have a monopoly on watching good content from this mod.
I'm interested in getting X3, do I need to get Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude to play this?
the corvette you mention that is in galaxy is the rouge shadow from force unleashed 2
That ship shown in the menu isn't from Galaxies. Its the 'hero' ship from the Force Unleased. Named Rogue Shadow.
For a 300k special you should do a community event on the Legends server for Galaxies. Like all imperial players form a fleet and fight against the rebels in their ships.

The ship you thought was from SWG in the beginning was definitely not. It was Starkiller's ship from TFU. And that wreck is an Old Republic Sith Capital Ship.
Son of a nerfhearder! Shack beat me on making a new X3 video.
The mod author did an excellent job in making new unique and exciting SW campaigns with his latest patches. The economies and station building is still complex as hell, but it's so rewarding to figure out.
However, the one thing that has me really hyped for this mod is the possibility of more BattleStar Galatica ships. The Viper fighter ships are already installed mod 9.77 and they look very sexy. This mod keeps getting better with every patch!

Also when you create a ship you can set the race to your characters name so you get it immediately

Is there a reason you say the game is Albion Prelude but the mod says Terran Conflict ?
I can't get the Blacklist manager to work to save my life. It's not appearing where people say it should. I need a step by step walk through or something. I have x3 albion prelude 3.2. I downloaded from steam and the web page. Is it something I have to buy in game and add to my ships? I tried my load game and my saved game. help please! thx

you should definitely start a new game after 1.0 is released.
I like the idea to load your old stuff and continue from there.
