Centerpoint station is a station that can control gravity and one of those made the Maw Cluster and the Corellian System that has 5 Earth Like planets because Centerpoint Station moved them there same with the Maw and the people who made it was those Celestials from the Mordius arc in the clone wars (The Son, The Father, and The Daughter)
It isn't made by the celestials they just man it.
It was built by the Thuruht Killik hive, just FYI.
I also thought that it was used to hyperspace asteroids into enemy ships ( and planets ) to destroy or at least seriously damage them. Then again I could be confusing it with another WMD
+megaman7501 nobody cares if it's canon or not. Personally I'm treating Legends as an alternate timeline, ignoring a metric crapton of Star Wars lore that was considered canon before because it's "no longer canon" is just stupid.
+Neronix17 The only reason it is not canon is because Disney can't make money on it.

The Starforge is a building you can capture. It has an amazing ability too.
Sins is still and most likely will stay the best Space RTS and I hope to see a lot more of it along with Stellaris on your channel Emperor Shack and Viceroy Valefor.

Nice thing that Centerpoint Station. The New Republic once used that thing during the Yuuzhang Vong War to defend Fondor from a Yuuzhang Vong attack. Unfortunately the use of the Centerpoint Station not only wiped out half the Yuuzhang Vong fleet but also three quarters of the Hapan fleet which was allied with the Republic and helped defend the planet. The Hapans where pretty pissed afterwards...

Ah love this mod. Good ol' Empire is the strongest faction in the game, but that high pop per ship means their forces can be stretched thin by grabbing too much land and being assaulted on multiple fronts. That being said, their deathball is pretty nigh unstoppable and the SSD's are absolute juggernauts if the Empire factions are allowed to snowball and get a good econ going.
Only in the video games do we see the true might of what the Empire is capable of!

lol, "Center Point Station? What's a Center Point Station?" It's from the extended universe Shack. It was used to move planets in the Corellian Sector and also as a massive gravity weapon twice.

Center point station was built by the Correlians, and it shoots a giant beam of death into other systems from its home system
It wasn't built by the Correlians it was built by the Killiks on behalf of the Celestials

centerpoint station is part of the Corellia series, its a gigantic gravity well generator. designed by the duro system from the legends series
The Duros didn't design centerpoint the celestials did and it was built for them by The Killiks
Centre point station was like ancient alien (in Star Wars universe) device that creates gravity wells

I've had Sins of a Solar Empire:Rebellion for a while now but could never really get into it. Maybe a few mods like this might change my mind. Thanks for these showcase videos, Shack. :)

Hey Shack to use the stations like centre point and the star forge you have to conduct planetary explorations to find the firing mechanisms on a random planet
good to see getting back to his. I wouldn't mid seeing you play the halo mod for this.
The research required for counterpoint station shack, is in your artifacts tab. I believe if you do an option called explore planet or something similar you unlock it.
Shack, in the lore CenterPoint is so powerful that it can move planets, the Corellian system was crated by centerpoint. Seven planets,moved b a single station
That scan stuff is actually vanilla I think. "Purous core" means that planets gravity well is smaller (gravity well is the space ships fly through/fight in)
Basically they are planetary bonuses.
Centerpoint station was one of the stations the celestials created, it has a small sun in it and I believe created the maw (black holes) to trap aberoth
I believe it was this version I was playing so long ago. I literally have 105 squadrons of X-Wings, Y-Wings, and A-Wings. Fighters wrecked entire imperial fleets before my ships could.

Shocking that every time they talk about the Mandos, Vode An plays, which is both the main theme of Republic Commando and a Mandalorian war chant.
Which is why its the Mandalorian theme in this mod. :-)
center point station was an installation made by the killiks and had the power to move planets with is gravitic generators enabling it to hurl planets at other planets if one were so inclined.
Center point station was created by the celestials thousands of years before even the old republic
Centerpoint station can also move planets or destroy them through gravitational force
Center point station creates matter through the force according to Star Wars Legends.

I was playing armada yesterday as the klingons. I got wrecked because I sent my fleet into battle and lost my flagship that I didn't know I had. XD

Love this mod. But always had one problem: Never could figure out how to activate the big Legends/Extended Universe capturables like the Star Forge or Centerpoint. I've always guessed it was an artifact you find on a planet, but never had the luck.
Yup. You need to explore planets to find the correct artifact (Infinite Engine for Star Forge, Gree Hyperdrive for Centerpoint Station). They are designed to be hard to get and use but game winning if you get them online.

From what I've seen, he's waiting for the mod to update. The mod author apparently had no internet for some time, so was unable to do so.
He needs to restart game as save files are no longer compatible with the new update that was released. yes update is already out

Have you tried with the latest Sins update? The mod ought to be a bit more stable for everyone now that LAA is handled by the base game.
