- Hey guys! Today’s video is an update on how the farm has been doing, and our newest addition to our homestead. I’ll also being showing me and my siblings daily life and having some fun with family !

When I had your job, I found if you had two buckets the same size and carry them in each hand ( even if you have to set them down and rest ) it was a bit easier because it balanced your body and made it easier to walk. See if it works for you.
Agreed. Eventually I got to where I could do two buckets with each hand so long as they had the plastic handles.

I love your videos and you are having a fun time taking care of the siblings and working out for yourself and the farm animals. You could make the water easier to haul for the sheep by attaching a hose to the bucket closer to the animals shelter, but whatever works for you and makes you happy.

I hope Mom and Dad have sprung for a couple hundred feet of cheap garden hose to speed up your watering chores.. Regarding the latch on the chicken coop, borrow Dad's drill and drill a hole about 3-4 inches directly above the latch and in line with it at approximately a 45% angle going up (from the outside) If you have 1/4" rope or even some paracord, use a 5/16 drill bit. Now feed your string/rope through the hole. Tie one end to the latch and the other end to a stick of some sort for a handle. Now you can just pull up on the string to open the latch from the inside. (You can also make a video showing you doing all this. )
Get a BIKE WITH side saddles with buckets filled with water
Maybe An adult tricycle??? Great excersize!!

Where I grew up we didn't have any running water, we carried water from a well for everything, pro tip👍carry two buckets, it'll balance the weight and make the load easier to bear.

What about a wagon with large thin wheels like you see on mountain bikes? Something lightweight (thin stripped sided) when empty, but still easily moveable over uneven ground when hauling your water buckets? I found that a rain barrel was useful also, set up on large blocks so the base spigot could be turned without bending and the buckets filled easily, even when they were sitting inside the wagon! It works.

I used to water freshly planted trees by the road by hauling buckets, etc... i found that hauling a coiple of buckets in a wheel barrow was better than hauling ine or two by a handle. I also used a bottle rack, a furniture dolly type thing with an arced back wa,l fkr a 5' tall chemical tank, to work best. I used discarded ( free) 5 gallon, clear blue plastic water cooler bottles to get more water at my destination when using the bottle rack.
We have a Gorilla cart which is a fancy name for wagon with all terrain wheels and it will pivot on the front tires, too, making it easy to make tight turns or turn around with it. It makes it a lot easier for me to move things outside. It will fit two five gallon buckets in it. I like it because I don't have to carry things, I can just pull it along.

Watch before & said nothing, try two buckets for a balanced load. Increase the amount of water as your strength increases. Saves time & trips.

It is easier to carry two buckets as that balances the load and you can carry a lot more. I had to water animals when I was your age too, and learned a lot of tricks to economise on effort

You could carry the bucket full of water in the wheelbarrow are the little wagon
You need a. Cart of some sort then you could use a couple of 5gal containers for the water and it would cut down on the number of trips to the well
Nice video i subed to your channle like i did your parents channel I love that forestry I sure hope to leave my homestead here in Western New Mexico and head north to either Montana or Idaho, off grid living is a fun life style and an amazing adventure. My favorite parts of living off grid are quietness, nature, hearing the coyotes Howell, seeing the stars at night, the wind, and coolness.... Boy I can't wait to see what up north has to offer I graduate high school in May so soon after that I'll be living in the woods myself all alone and self sufficient. Yea I can't wait....

That facial mask would be cool to wear at Halloween time. Get different colors and do the whole face! Really nice that you get along with all brothers and sister. Perfect role model!! Try to carry 2 buckets at a time. That will balance the load and be better for your body. No leaning to one side. Fill buckets up half way and slowly fill them up more as you get used to it.

Your boulder is an erratic that was carried in on the back of a glacier from Canada and deposited there, probably when that glacier melted back...
