Jen, can you tell me if the Sram Apex has adjustable shift force. That is, the force to make the first click? On my shifter, I think it's a little tight for me.
I think what you mean is the force needed to push on the shift lever? If so, replacing the old cables and running the new cables as smoothly as possible is the solution.
I just tried this. Got a Force shifter as parts for Rival. Didn't work. The part that is shown broken in this video is different between the two models and a few other small parts too. 😢

Hello. Do you know if double tap internals are same between force/red/rival? I'm mostly interesting a gear and a spring that loads it.
Parts are interchangeable, but some of small pieces are different, especially red parts are specially made for reduce weight.

@@Pstaines439 that’s strange. I used Rival mechanical shifter parts to repair Force shifter with hydraulic brakes. And all fits well.
can i swap parts out of my left hand shifter to the broken double tap on right ? its on my indoor trainer so dont use the left double tap
