    To continue with "leaking though PUL", I find that when I have a cotton backer w/ hidden PUL, the cotton backer is more likely wick blood to the cotton backer. I got rid of this problem by having hidden PUL with fleece.
    Also, have you tried cotton bonded PUL? It's amazing!

    Where can I buy fabric here in Europe that's good quality and also won't leave me broke?

    Hello, When first rinsing them, do you do it in cold water? After that, do you wash them in cold, warm or hot?

    • @SimonaShine

      Blood needs to be washed in cold water always! After all the blood's come out,you can do a warm cycle. Most do hot cycle but hot water wears them off with time

      queeniebee237 Hi, I've actually tried this maker some time ago but they just were not for me. As they are made on a embroidery machine they are not top stitched which I did not get along with and sadly the core design just couldn't cope with my flow in the heaviest absorbency. They are well made though and an established brand so it's important to remember not all pads work for everyone. I'm pretty sure there are already some great reviews on CZcams and if you like the look of them certainly give them a try :-) like I advise with any pads even home made buy/make one or two to try and see how you get on!! I originally did review it but I had only tried it once on a sporadic lighter period so when my period got back to normal following month the review did not reflect my experience so I took it down. I ended up taking it apart to upcycle parts which is why I never reviewed it a second time.

      It really is a case of trial and error

    Where can I get the clips from? What is the name of them?

      You can get them on amazon or ebay and some sewing shops (although they will be more expensive there). They are just called sewing clips :-)

    Can kam snaps be used without the tool?

    • @FlowOfTheGoddessClothPads
      @FlowOfTheGoddessClothPads  Před 6 lety

      I have heard of people trying to use them without but you really need the Kam press to secure them and make sure they wont come loose or fall off. You can get the press for less than £10 on ebay or amazon :-)

    Also for U.S. sellers, to legally sell or even donate it can cost thousands of dollars in fees to the FDA because menstrual pads are considered a medical device. You can totally make them for your self/household. But if you get caught selling it can cost aver a thousand dollars in fines. So yeah that's another reason. These sweet ladies are definitely not in it for the money lol.
