@@strikeninja255 My main was a Gon kungfu master in BnS and on the Q and E was a sidestep to left and right of the enemy. I think the sword master and an other class was also with sidesteps, I can't remember it exactly because I havn't played the game since over 4 years.

It looks to much mechanical
It's funny how many players seem to love combat like this, meanwhile I hate it. I already dislike watching it, and hate playing it. I would instantly rage and uninstall the game after one fight, like I did with Elden Ring. First, those metallic sound are super annoying and repetitive, and the super unforgiving fight style of Souls-like games is extremely frustrating and unfun to me. The fact you need to hit the boss 150 times to kill it but in two hits you're dead... yeah nah. It's too unrealistic for me to enjoy it. And requires absolute perfect focus all the time, which to me is stressing rather than fun.
Sure Genshin combat is too casual for most ppl, but this is way too hardcore. I feel like Wuthering Waves will be the perfect middle ground (and will also offer way more varied combat than this game).
I have no idea what version of Souls games you were playing if this was your experience. If they are that much of a struggle for you, pick up a guide, actually LOOK at how people approach these games. And you'll quickly realize they aren't intimidating at all.
A moment u said genshin u lost me, like that came out out nowhere in your sentences. U know game is always competitive , game is always about challenge. it weird to thinking people who play alot of games i mean PLAY it not like just leisure want something more exciting. Otherwise why we have e-sport? By end of the day game is a challenge a stimulation that many have grow addicted.
Skill issue
Naaah, I done with the gacha games like this. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but action RPG is not my cup of tea. Maybe age finally catch up for me. But have fun.
I've always preferred turn-based games over action games. And the older I get this preference I already had since I was a kid has only become more pronounced. Maybe It's really only my own personal experience, but I do think people become more patient as they grow older. I'm only 32 years old but I already feel a noticeable increasing desire to slow down and take it easy. It's nice to be able to take your time and think things over.
@@Satyr42 I already feel that way at 29. Even though I still like a good challenge and find fulfillment in that, I definitely don't really find that "cool" anymore. I take things way more slowly now, taking in the sights, reading the in-game book, etc. Funny enough, it was actually Genshin that caused this shift in my mindset. It showed me what really mattered-- what I really care about.
Meh, souls-like is a big no for me...

You gonna need that "Get Good" bundle. Jokes aside, I don't think you will struggle that much due to how Parry/blocking looks in this game, just pay attention and attack after.
@Stixxy I mean, one of the hallmarks of Souls game design is the player having control over their experience. Which is the antithesis to how gachas operate.
