Never got to 100%. What was the plan for it?
Did they forget about it? Was it supposed to do something? Was it just put there to confuse players and create mystery?

I laughed way harder than I should have at that 😂😂 knowing how goofy the writing at Playtonic is, I honestly wouldn't even put such a twist past them.

Yeah seeing Shovel Knight was cool. The voice took me by surprise. I imagined him a tad higher pitched, just maybe by one tiny pitch. Still not a bad one, though. Him saying “hoho!” Feels right. I want him to laugh like that in his own series. Maybe put it at the end of a dialogue box
This Gaming Mysteries video was another great one, and I now have learn more stuff about Yooka-Laylee, my 20TH Favourite Game of All Time.

The Pirate Treasure spots were really hard to find, so I was kinda disappointed there was no particular resolution to this achievement, but then again, I grew up with Banjo-Kazooie, so knowing mysterious items will be 100% downplayed feels like home to me!

Let's hope Re-playlee comes to complete this game by filling some gaps the best possible way and mostly give it an even more interesting turn in mystery and puzzles, something like Stop N Swop!!!

I also hope their low and secretive "profile" comes to fulfill our endless and righteous desire of a new Banjo-Kazooie adventure!
Even though Grant Kirkhope and Playtonic denied the rumours of a new Banjo game there's still something going on in the background with Nintendo,4F figures,ProjectDream who made the astonishing Banjo Threeie commercial,Phil Spencer who stated "Banjo fans we hear you",insiders who say a new Banjo is in the works since 2023 etc,etc....and that tells me we're getting closer to it!!! By the way I wish you Good Luck with your YT channel and that's a powerful tool when you give people the chance to share their thoughts!!! You could also contact other YT channel owners who have the same worries and interest in Banjo Kazooie and make a live conversation talking about it!You could make surveys and call out to every Banjo Kazooie fan to vote for a new game and believe me we are many out there! Remember that they will only take it seriously if we all come together and raise our voices to them!!!

Im VERY excited about this remaster. It will have new challenges, old reworked challenges, improved controls, camera etc as well. and it looks absolutely amazing. Yooka Laylee was great. I can't wait for this.
Ive been wondering, why doesn't laylee hate the light, despite being a bat
Maybe she's a special type of bat that is active by day. Most bats irl are nocturnal and would prefer to sleep in dark spaces.
I recall someone in-game calling her goth, who usually like dark dank places. Things people often consider unusual places for people to be in. Her being a bat makes that environment normal but since goths tend to hate "normal" stuff perhaps her being diurnal is her being a bat's version of a goth. Going against what's typical of a bat y'know?
Now I think about it, since she doesn't live like a normal bat within caves, that might be why she needed to learn how to use her echolocation abilities. Always thought that was weird how she didn't already know she could do that, now we have.. AN answer?

I just wished this game had better music and didn't force me to get 100 pagies to get to the boss.
It feels like your grinding for the rest of them after the 75th one you get.
Also, music should've been a lot better. (and this is coming from a huge Rare fan)

I just feel weird about Replaylee, the game doesn't seem old enough to warrant a remake, but I do feel like this is a pretty big chance to fix some of the issues I have with the original, but is this going to hurt Playtonic in the long run? The first Yooka did great thanks to the kick starter but it doesn't have the best reputation, are they going to make their money back from this? I will buy Replaylee, but only if the price is right, it would be nice to get a discount if we purchased the original, but I can only see that for people who bought it on Steam.

This game got a lot of hate for no reason at all I really like this game I beat it I almost got every single achievement what happened was the last achievement that I needed to get got glitched the achievement that I was supposed to get was by all of trousers moves I did that but I never got the achievement

listen... i know the game has flaws and OBVIOUSLY isnt banjo kazooie. but i still enjoyed it.
however im not too hyped about the remake, mostly because the major complaint ppl had (myself included) is many areas are large but empty. "hey look at this big tower... yeah theres 5 quills around it thats all"
idk how the remake is supposed to fix that, from what i read it will have a new ingame currency or something, but i didnt read anything about remaking the worlds.
so yeah. not too hyped.

The random coins reminded me of the purple coins in Mario Odyssey, so I'm hoping they're taking a pagie out of that book and making the levels more compact, less empty and overall worth exploring.
I'd have preferred an entirely new game but after revisiting the original recently I'm curious what'll be different altogether. It just.. REALLY needs to be a little better than "meh" is all.

That aside I am willing to give the remake a try, although I can’t see it making a huge difference.
Depends on the extent of the remake.
I hardly would say Yooka is bad, but lacked the polish Banjo had for sure.
