Maybe small but getting one of your guys to demonstrate the different parts of the cement lorry is quality! I have nothing to do with construction at all so just explaining the “simple things” is so helpful. It’s the small things like that, that really separate yourself from others imo. Keep it up!

When I was 16, I got a job in a furniture company here in Glasgow. We had a 7.5t driver that every day we would stop for lunch and he would buy two cans of carling and drink them at lunch time in the truck. This was every day for around a year . There were lots of talking between employees because it was happening every day. Eventually management got this device that in the morning you pressed it. If it went green you done a breathalyser if it went red you didn’t. Eventually he got sacked. I’m now 35 and still can’t understand why I allowed him to do that when I was in the van. The worst part was management in the warehouse knew it was happening and covered it up on a few occasions. People might think those breathalysers are unnecessary in truck driving but I’ve witnessed guys doing it first hand.
lol bro Same happend to me used to work for local civils firm the old boi I worked with would pick me up then go grab couple beers then drink them on the way to the job . if he we had time in between jobs he would go grab half bag. One day where working in a quiet car park was pissed up as usual reversed straight into this car in a tipper truck!! must have written it off it was bad. He got away with it no cctv and I’m not a snitch but that was it for me I quite after that. Couple Years later I found out he got ran over by a car he was pissed up fell into the road when a car was coming…

Good man Daniel I work in pest control and you made the right decision as copper pipes is harder for rats to chew through although they can get the weak part in the bends but copper is the best option.
Most homes go for plastic as its cheapest but it can often cost more in the long run.

6:27 - need to have a look at dry ice blasting.. Doesn't do the incidental damage that sandblasting does, but still very effective on the target spot.

Daniel towards the end of the video while u was working from home just underneath the blue qpr shirt there is a building I believe is tower place right next to tower bridge …. This was my first ever curtain wall building I was involved in back in 2001 the cladding was supplied by Gartners and transported all the way from Germany and installed by Ben wall fixings which included myself and was where I pretty much learnt the trade before moving back to wales to go back into property maintenance

Can you justify a beaver tail truck to deliver and collect your plant hire. It’s more purpose made than using the flat beds. Also you can save time and money by carrying more stuff - just a thought

There’s a new development. Is called ice blasting.. cleans, and it gets rid of grease and all forms of dirt without leaving any residue behind all water. is a quick and very durable can be utilised on all surfaces including carpets, steel, electrical cables, and to get rid of grease, sewing and so forth. Your management to look into it is a new process that’s been developed and as far as I know, there’s only one team available in the country at the moment.. I cannot verify the cost depending on what you do and what you want, but it’s very quick like I have advocate and clean. You could get your staff to look into it to see if it meets your needs I’m just putting it out there. Bye for now take care gents of your friends and family.

A good episode and it was nice to see some more content from Terry... For 2024, could the content team do a day in the life of an operations director/terry. We've had this from Daniel, but it would be good to get this other perspective.
Got an idea for a video of day in the life of as many employees as possible with you cutting between different driver’s action cam and vehicle cctv perspectives of what is happening simultaneously.
Hi Daniel regarding your red granite would it be better to buy only 20mm and hire a stone crusher for a period of time to crush the smaller size stone rather than buy all the different sizes and also save you space in the yard also it would save on dead money if the granite didnt attract much interest also you could load the trucks under the end of the crusher belt straight as you needed the different sizes of stone i hope to hear your thoughts take care of th shoulder
