We don't know the circumstances, it might have been the right thing to do. Maybe she was in incurable pain or suffering a terminal illness, suicide is sometimes justified and trying to prevent it is sometimes cruel. It is always difficult for everyone but it varies depending on circumstance, trust me I know.

The dog is. Because Pitties are called nanny dogs. Think about it.
My mom also committed sucide after my youngest sister died in a drowning accident... So I've had a few tragedies in my young life. But after my mom's death I was such a dark place, and for some reason I just decided to adopt a dog from the pound... We always did whenever we adopted an animal. Always from the pound. And apparently they had told me if I hadn't gotten him that day he would have been gone the next. To think that someone just left him there... It just breaks my heart because he has brought so much joy and happiness to my life. He gave me a reason to get out of bed out of the morning... Literally lol and that was such a good thing for me. There is no purer love than the love of an animal. I'm forever grateful for my Hank for helping become happy again after my mother's death... He definitely was a big help.

@@topdawgcnj No. Though, I have had a pit before. He was very gentle and sweet. I'd love to have adopt another on when I move into a bigger home. But the one I have now he's a little mut lol I'm not exactly sure what he's mixed with though the vet has mentioned he has boxer colors and facial shape.
October Mochi My gal is 30 lb. American Staffordshire terrier. We got her from a friend when she went up on their porch to seek shelter and she was starving. Someone had just turned her out in the street. We took her in and she’s turned out to be the sweetest most affectionate dog you can imagine, but with a mind of her own as well. My opinion is that anyone who would turn a pup out on the street should be dropped in the middle of the Pine Barrens naked, and make them have to live off pine cones..

I truly believe Pittie's have a instinct to human heart break. I adopted a Red Nosed Pittie after our first loss of an immediate family member. My Dad died at 64 of pancreatic cancer back in 2001. I wanted a guard dog but also a loving gentle dog. Staffordshire Terriers AKA Pitbulls are top of the list. After five days of visiting a particular red nosed Pittie at Pasadena Humane Society, I signed the paper on a Saturday, paid the fees and would be picking him up that Tuesday.... Before I left on Saturday, I gave him his name already, Ready? I named this handsome, smart & loving ball of muscle Fred. All my buddies were already telling me names like Tank, Bullet, Killer ETC.. No way. I actually reevaluated some of my friends after that. Fred had so much personality from the start, I knew a human name was the only way to go. When I told the staff & volunteers at the shelter, I named him Fred, they all told me "we know he is going to a good home" Fred was found tied to a tree. Vets estimated his age by his teeth, Fred was 3-4 years old.
My only worry was how would he behave with my Mom as she has both knees replaced and was on the cusp of having hip surgery. But honest to God, Fred already knew not to play rough with my Mom. Not only that, Fred knew my mom had a broken heart from my Dad passing. One day as my Mom would place a chair in front of the dry so she could fold clothes without having to stand (I was at work mind you) Fred must've noticed the door into the gurage open so he went to do his job and cheak why or who was in the gurage. My Mom told me once Fred seen her sitting there by herself, Fred slowly walked in and gently placed his head on her lap.....
this was about month two of Fred moving in with us. From that day on Fred was my Moms bodyguard. Now yes, Fred imprinted on me because him and I met first and I took him out of jail and brought him home. But when ever I was at work till 3AM or 10PM till 6AM Fred slept with my Mom but once Fred heard my Cars & Trucks coming down the block, Fred would meet me at the door and sleep with me. As long as Fred slept with my Mom till I got home then she was fine. But Fred did make her feel safe all night as long as Fred was there...
P.S. Mom passed at 8 am in the Summer of 2016 of respiratory failure. Summer time it doesn't get dark till 8:30pm on the west cost. Around 9:pm Fred (Fred became a inside dog on day two of him moving in. Fred already had me wrapped around his paw) with all my brother, sisters, nieces & nephews walked to the back door, which is Freds way of telling me he has to go potty. I opened the door and as Fred walked out about 4 feet, he turned back and looked at me, I knew right there he didn't have to potty, so I stepped out and closed the door behind me. Fred took about ten steps and howled like he never, ever did since I had him. As much as I felt Fred my whole time together, he never howled, he hardly ever barked either, unless a stranger was ringing the doorbell. Fred howled a few more times, It made me hurt a bit more cause Fred had always been the protector, Fred was our 24hr security, Fred had become my Moms rock & mine after Dad passed in 01. Fred was the best dog of my life, so I truly understand the story of Beau and his family healing together after such heartache. Fred was the red fur with brownish/green eyes and the white strip right between his eyes.

I believe pitbull refers to the pit terrier, which has now been renames to the American staffodshire terrier - staffies are from the same line of dogs, but different.

Angels do have paws..Im a Beleiver! When my husband's son took his life, his grief was beyond words.... 6mnths after we went + he got "the last" pup of a litter of Shepherds....'Jake' + my husband were inseparable, he truely helped his broken heart to heal! Beau IS SOO CUTE, LOVE HIS SMILING FACE!

I'm really happy for you. They really are some of the most loving of dogs.
Awesome! The only aggressive Pits I've seen were the ones tied to chains in back yards. The others, including mine, have been super love bugs to everyone they meet. They're family dogs, so they get depressed when they're left alone without any love from humans. I currently own a female AmStaff and when I take her out to the back yard, people walking by the street, as risky as it is with ANY dog, get a safe vibe from her and stick their hands through the fence to pet her. She especially loves little kids and babies...and cats. I have two and they're the chillest trio. I trust bully breeds more than any other breed. Peace!

@yeji ponytail actual pitbulls don't. They have one of the lpwest bite rates. Its just that any dog that looks similar is counted as a pit bull. Pitbull is ised to describe an appearence more than the actual pitbull breed, which like I said has one of the lowest bite rates out of all dog breeds, and tested 3rd in the ATTS temperament test, just behind labradores in second and golden retrievers in 1st.

I mean it does happen my uncle had a pit since it was a puppy never mistreated it didn't even teach how to be aggressive but his wife was pregnant and once she had the baby one night they woke up to the dog chewing the baby to death so they had to put him down

I’ve been rescuing bullies for a long time and back in the day pit bulls were called the nanny dog because of how loyal they are to the family but most of all the babies/children and you can see why. They are truly amazing, goofy, fun loving, loyal dogs. They are so misunderstood. Thank you for helping to change the worlds view of pit bulls. I’m sorry to hear about your Mom. It made me cry a little. I pray for all the best for you, your Dad and your fur baby. 💕

We recently rescued a puppy pit bull who had a broken leg and a big scar down his back. We don’t know what happened in his young life to injure him but he is the sweetest, happy, most loving and grateful little dog we ever had. We are so in love with him. Love you Sammy❤️

Watching this made me miss my Pitt baby Gabe. He passed away three years ago, he was an amazing dog. We rescued him from a really bad situation where he was chained to a tree and the only time he was let of was when they would use him as a bait dog. He was one of the sweetest dogs I ever had, he was always snuggling and giving kisses.
I love the Part when animal control told the dad to get a pitbull to make her daughter feel safe and not be scared of dogs. These two beautiful human beings are great ambassadors for pitties. Thank you and bless you.

Not all dogs are the same just like not all people are the same. There is a dog for everyone. No breed is worse than another. Fearful animals like fearful people may lash out. APBT is the most misunderstood mainly because of horrible criminals who fight them. Every shelter pet deserves to be loved regardless of breed or disability.

My family owned a pit bull. He was friendly and goofy. I’ve personally never had bad experiences with any dog. Some shelters/rescues make sure the right dog is matched with the right person. I have a friend who was afraid of all dogs because of one dog that bit him. He is still afraid of dogs. Everyone has a fear and everyone can overcome that fear. Sorry for rambling.

This is like the third or fourth time I've watched this video. It just gives me such joy, and Beau and his family love each other so much.
All those dislikes are from people that don't have friends as good as Pitbulls, or maybe even 0 friends.
I had a rottie untill she was 15.5 years old. Best companion ever. The breeds people fear the most are actually the most loving beings.
The family is loving & had a dog size space ready for this boyo. We attract what we r, right. My 95” pittie just passed, he was a gentle giant❤️
I agree...my Rottie was 150 pounds of big baby. Not a mean bone in him. I had him from 7 weeks old until he crossed the rainbow bridge 5 days after his 12th birthday. I'd give years off of my life to be able to have him back again, still miss him everyday 💔😭 every pit , Rottie and doberman I've ever met have been lovebugs ❤

Thank u for sharing this story...wonderful family, he’s a good boy👍❤️ my 95 lb Rocky the pit just passed...he gave me a zillion kisses and was by my side for walks hikes long car rides (WA to OK in a 350Z) and couch surfing! He brightened my day every day. So glad they found each other, between the doggo hugs n kisses n the girls laugh, total joy 👍❤️

Terra Wareham ye totally agree I had an English bulldog he was like my best friend he followed me everywhere until one day he died in the garden it was so sad everyone in my house was sat in the garden on a hot day and he took his last breath while lying down 😢

Pitbulls help us heal, provide us with love and affection when we need it most.....even when we don't know we need it. They're very emotionally in-tune & very, very sweet dogs that just need more affection than any other breed.

Idk why people just automatically think pit bulls are aggressive bc most of them are so lovable and deserve good loving families.
I own two dogs but none of them are pit bulls, but I think having a pit bull would be cool

It's because of their reputation for being fight dogs. Horrible people created that reputation by torturing those poor dogs
My family has had three Pitbull’s, if you can I’d definitely recommend getting a pit. Though two things I should warn you about
1. Their tails. Usually pits don’t realize their strength. Be warned, getting whacked with that tail is like getting whacked with a tree trunk 😂
2. Pits also usually don’t realize that they are much bigger than they think. They think their lap dogs, so say good bye to your personal space
