Is the colbor mini Bowens standard and can I use any mini Bowens to Bowens adapter to fit the standard light modifiers, it would help shrink my carry gear to interview shoots
W100 only fits for its official mini softbox CP30. But it'll fit the standard light modifiers with the mount adapter ring, which will be released very soon. :D

So which one is the brightest? Might have missed it. Will it fill shadowside of a model in evening sun?
Howdie! The overall brightest light is the Colbor. The zhiyun reflector has an intense hotspot. Depends on your materials/acessories you are using but I will say yes.
On the Colbor, does the cable you choose to connect a battery make any difference to max brightness? Some lights don't go to full brightness on USB-C
Since my reviews are always side by side, I wanted to do that test vs the Zhiyun battery so I can see what each brand is doing when it comes to external power. Sadly I didn't have the chance to make it to that portion due to Zhiyun battery issue. That is a good question and it should be investigated.
how about use the colbor battery on the x100 light instead?

Depends on the power output.
I literally just ordered the CX100, then Amazon showed me this Colbor and on searching I found this video. Too late to cancel the Zhiyun, but ordered the Colbor anyway.

Thanks for asking. The power pack is separate. It is labeled on the bottom left of the screen at $99. I didnt want to over power the presentation so I made it transparent. Apologies.

Colbor is better in color quality, and price, but worse in build very cheap feeling. I bought the Wonder 60 for the rgb but its the same light physically. I saw charts the Colbor is actually better weird mini bowens mount thing aside... for price diff the Colbor is the winner no question. Kinda wish id grabbed the 100w but I wanted the RGB
Correct! around this price point there was cost cutting on this unit as mentioned in the video. Im just amaze how low it was. The CL100X is a very nice unit. All metal body and I think its $200.

Yeah but the Colbors have bad reviews on Amazon compared to Zhiyun. I think you should take that into account and do a long term test with both before assuming the Colbor is better.
There are literally thousands of good reviews for Zhiyun but I can barely find any for Colbor. Lots of people are talking about quality issues with Colbor.
Truthfully, I think there is a “reason” why Colbor is cheaper than Zhiyun.
So we went live on the channel and research your amazon claim. You got the viewers laughing with your amazon reviews on the Colbor as we didnt see any of your claims at all.
Link us some reviews and entertain us. Show us battery and fire issue like the Zhi yun is going through. Show us some substance because I want to see this " LOTS OF PEOPLE " on amazon. Make sure they are verified buyers.
Colbor just came out 2 month ago while Zhi yun came out over 1 year plus.

I scoured reviews on forums, retailers, and CZcams, and felt like the light might have been a sham because of how little I could find. So basically what you’re saying is that Colbor is a much respected name in the lighting space compared to Zhiyun, even though the product is newer. That makes things more clear for me. I already own Zhiyun Molus X60 RGB PRO with all the accessories. When Colbor arrives I’ll evaluate and if it all goes smoothly I’ll sell the Zhiyun.
the X100 is a good light but its battery is a complete garbage, it worked 4 times and stopped charging, I hope they will replace it for me. too bad the colbor is not available here in Europe
Yea, I saw the high volume of issue on that battery for the X100. I wanted to test it vs the Colbor but the reviews had me scared. I can ask Colbor if they are planning to sell it in Europe and if so the ETA.

A few of my other followers has also told me their ZhiYun x100 battery also died out real fast. Im glad I didn't picked one up.
was fixed with a new circuit. it was a problem from the past. im very confident after they exchanged my batteries. no problems since.
can I power W60 with PD Power Bank?
Yes, make sure you have enough power output. Have fun~! I use Vmount for mines.
if I have 100w pd power bank, do you know if I can fully power (100%) the colbor with usb c? or it will only allow me go as high as 50% or something
@@aria.y You are missing something in the equation, an excellent usbc cable that can deliver that charge. Don't use low power for ipad or iphone . You will need high watt version. Cheers
