If you can beat Sigmund before the 5 minute time limit is up, you're rewarded with 5 DP. The best way to do this is to get the Jupiter Bell in chapter 3, which allows for no delay after wind arts which means a caster can spam Spark Dyne for quick high damage and an evasion tank to bait Sigmund (preferably Lloyd because Raging Spin can pull him away from the others). The other two casters should focus on buffing the Spark Dyne user's ATS with Fortuna and reducing Sigmund's ADF with Cobalt Sphere (Sigmund can be debuffed). Be sure to skip every animation you can so they don't eat up the timer. Be careful when he uses Ogre Cry, because its a signal that he will S-craft the next turn so make sure Lloyd has a guard up (from Tio's Zero Field or Adamantine Shield) otherwise revive him ASAP because it will one-shot. This battle pretty much has a factor of RNG that Sigmund will not randomly target the three casters or that he won't S-craft prematurely before Tio can use Zero Field.

It took me a ton of resets just to win the fight on hard mode. I can't imagine how many tries it took on Nightmare
