I named my warlock Infernalord just cause I wanted to only use the infernal, fond memories of going around with it, hearing it stomp left and right. I remember the excitement of watching it's stones start glowing nearing the end of legion. It was there when my guild killed heroic Argus, so you can tell that I held it close to my heart. I farmed gul'dan for the mount day and night, but it never dropped. Then, in BFA, they took away my poor boy. The wrathguard is just not the same. But hey, at least now I can be a real demonology lock with Nether Portal and that sweet Fel Lord.
As a warlock main that green fire boss battle was no joke. Took over 20 attempts but dammit was it ever so satisfying to get green fire and the cool title as well.
Especially in original wc3 intro. In remake it looks silly and ugly. They are really fucking up with reforged. Changing sounds and making models for units that do not resemble originals in 90% of cases Wc3HD models from starcraft 2 are much better and are what they shoudlve done instead of this bullshit they do right now.
those were fun times indeed. i remember sitting in storm wind at lvl 60 summoning Inferno and just letting the time run out. i freaked out a lot of low level players

Just wanna make sure the correct info gets out there in case anyone who, like you, didn't play classic, goes looking for those weapons, they know what to look for. ;) BTW the warglaives of azzinoth are still in the live game, they drop from illidan in the black temple EXTREMELY rarely and are VERY sought after especially by demon hunters who can through some jiggery pokery use them as a transmog for their own weapons.
I honestly wish that there was a talent called "master summoner" for demonology that letted him have an infernal as a permenant pet(not the doom guard too, just infernal) but also make it so doomguards dont go rogue after a few minutes when summoned and dont require a sacrifice.
Now Shadowlands has implemented a long-time favourite for demonbois, Rain of Chaos. Tichondrius' and Magtheridon's special ultimate ability from the RTS, whenever you spend Soul Shards during your infernal uptime, you have a chance of summoning another infernal. You really notice the big pumping damage once your second and third RoC proc, where your shard generation becomes insanely fast and you can chain cast chaos bolt. Very fun gameplay, although the boring numerologists say it's 0.00015% lower dps and therefore not recommended
ONE IMPORTANT FUNCTIONALITY IN PVP BATTLEGROUND: The initial stun and AOE ability of Infernal can prevent opponent from capturing a flag. The AOE is still effective once it is banished, and there was no way to cancel banish in vanilla. So if a careless warlcok from the opposing faction try to disable an infernal near the capturing flag, he or she was doing a great favour for me.
2:30 - 😂 summoning the infernal during a raid meeting was intense, sometimes it would go bat shit crazy mod we would wend be wiped by the summon the enemy trash.
Alot of the music is music we have for use on the channel, but we tested with the intro some wow/warcraft music, and are debating using actual wow music in the future
Correction: Voidlord was a far better tank for tanking single enemies (becuz the damage mitigation and max health buff ability), Abyssal was able to pick agroo of all mobs faster but it's AoE damage was weaker than Wrathguard, but Wrathguard was less tankier (didn't have any Passive or Ability to mitigate damage).
Talking about trees in WoW kinda made me mad again that they never implemented woodworking as a profession. Leaves a giant hole in the crafting system too, especially in Vanilla.

They should make a New max level ability for demonology warlocks called "Master Of The Art". You should be able to have infernal as a perma Pet and the doomguard summoning ritual shouldt require a sacrifice and the doomguard is enslaved for longer if you used the ability. It would make the demonology more useful in raids since the infernal/doomguard isnt useful/hurting to the raid since the infernal/doomguard has a enslavement timer and they can start attacking you when the duration ends which is annoying.They can also add an ability that you can learn 1 level after learning the infernal ability called "Banish". It can be learned by all specs but can only be used on the infernal(On the doomguard if you are a demonology warlock.). It banishes the infernal (or doomguard) from the realm but can only be used when its enslavement effect ends. It would make the infernal (or doomguard) a lot more viable in raids.
That is actually another quest, that one is its own quest on its own, from impsy, and we plan to bring up that quest in the voidwalker video, since the trinket has to do with voidwalker.

I know we will never get permanent infernals again but I really wish that we could atleast get a glyph to let us turn our infernal into an abyssal like the old grimoire of supremacy.
Elimentals are held together by an eliment, E.g fire, wind, water and so on, hence the name Elimentals. Infernals are held together with fel magic, so no they are not Elimentals in anyway mate.

Why would Blizzard remove an upgrade that seemingly just made a summon look cooler? Thats such a petty little bitch move. I mean, sure, it's not strictly necessary, but you would think a company perfectly willing to sell real money gated mounts and transmogs wouldn't underestimate the value of aesthetics.

A note on infernals that's important is that it doesn't break demonic sacrifice since it's a enslaved demon.
I remember getting the grimoire and using it as an extra tank for my epic mount in vanilla...
Also demon hunters got a felhunter mount in their intro questchain. I always wanted to be able to use that mount on my warlock

Infernals did technically have (Fire) Spell Immunity, in any version of WoW that had resistance lol.

Completing the infernal Quest gave you a trinket or a main hand scythe. Most people pick the trinket cuz it was way more useful
