Excellent trip report. Liked and subscribed. It's cool to be on an inaugural flight
Excellent video, and very accurate. Have travelled on the Norwegian Dremliner several times, just now, Oslo-Bangkok, Premium Class, seat 4A, just opposite yours. The Dreamliner is awesome, so quiet, comfortable, and you get less dehydrated/jet-lagged. Norwegian has been vote best long haul, LC, carrier, for several years. Well deserved. In my opinion much better value for money, than many legacy carriers, like United, BA and SAS. - Trust me, I’ve traveled extensively over the years, and am ex gold card holder, on United, American and SAS. Thanks for watching and your input Eric. I agree with you. The thing about Norwegian for me is that it doesn't feel like I'm flying a LCC. And I'm talking about flying on Economy. It feels more like I'm flying somekind of a hybrid airline. The funny thing is that flying BA for example doesn't feel like flying on a legacy carrier for me but more of a hybrid airline. True Legacy carriers are becoming rare imo, alot of Legacy carriers have changed their strategy and have become more or less some kind of hybrid airline.
Like I said I really hope they will expand their long haul network from Amsterdam so I can use them more often, but with current developments of Schiphol airport I don't expect it on short terms.

Window Seat I agree with you. The term LC carrier doesn’t fit Norwegian. Most people are very surpised how good it is. BA is going down hill. And they have a Norwegian paranoia. The strange thing is that they copy NAS, not the other eay around. Firstly they create this strange co called Level. And BA itself, copy routes like LGW-Oakland, LGW-Ft Lauderdale, and many more. Just recently BA tried to buy NAS, but the offer was turned down.-When it comes to Amsterdam, KLM and their partners, are not an easy task. The route AMS-JFK, was only obtained, after EU authorities, forced KLM/ Delta, to give up slots, 4 days a week. Its not easy, being a relatively small airline, and fast growing . Many obstacles....

I flew Norwegian out of Newark to Barcelona last Christmas and it was a good experience .... good service and the food was ok. Not real first class compare to first class in other airline but for the price you cannot beat it....

Mooie video weer! Een goede aanwinst voor Schiphol dat Norwegian naar New York vliegt. Prijzen liggen een stuk lager dan Delta of KLM. Kwaliteit is vaak gewoon goed. en dan ook nog is met de Dreamliner. Hopelijk snel meer verre bestemmingen van Norwegian vanaf Schiphol. al ben ik bang dat KLM dat wel tegen houdt. Ik kijk uit naar je volgende video.

Norwegian lijkt mij een mooie aanwinst op de route AMS-New York. Tja, het eten zag er misschien niet premium uit maar als de kwaliteit verder goed is zou het mij verder een worst zijn. Wel mooi systeem van drankjes bestelllen met veel keus.
Verder mooie strakke video. Groenland was prachtig !
Thanks voor het kijken man 👍 Ik ben het helemaal met je eens, het is gewoon een goede betaalbare alternatief om de oceaan over te vliegen. Het systeem om te bestellen vanuit je stoel vond ik ook leuk. Zoals ik al zei hoop ik dat ze meer Long Haul bestemmingen krijgen vanaf AMS.

Great video buddy, very enjoyable water cannon salute on departure and good the captain explained it as not everyone knows what it is. I can't help but feel that the meals did not look that premium though, almost economy meals but in a box. Great capture of the turbulence in, some great wing flex, something about that area as I always seem to encounter turbulence around that area when flying. I hope all is well with you.
Cheers mate, thanks for watching. The box certainly didn't feel premium with the plastic fork and knive, but I can live with it. I must say that I like their overall product, W and Y, also short haul. Lounge acces and fast track would definately be a plus, maybe in the future.
They do have fast track and acsses to a lounge at Oslo airport and several other airports
Yeah at selected airports they have, but I meant at Amsterdam. But maybe they will in the future.
Bare in mind this is a low cost no frills carrier. Plus he is in premium economy. Just a step up. The food looked good and the leg room. I’ll deffo be giving this carrier a try

Lovely video about Norwegian. I came back last week to New York and I also flew with Norwegian in Premium Economy from Oslo. How did you get on this flight? Could everyone book a ticket?
Thanks for watching mate 👍 I booked the ticket through their website, everyone could get on the flight. I read that Norwegian was opening this route and because I wanted to test their Premium Cabin for a while now it was the perfect oppurtunity for me to fly with them.
I should have booked this flight instead of my flight through Oslo... Looks like I just missed it. Did you like their meals? The 2 served meals on my flight were so bad. Overall it was fine because of the price but if I compare to it to LOT Polish Airlines Premium Economy if have to say that there is a huge difference.
The food was ok.
Norwegian is the tampon plane livery...

Thanks for watching Mark 👍 As I booked early I paid the normal fare. I did see after I booked one way fares around €140 in Y, which sounds pretty good to me. Flew back in Y which was also a good product imo.

claus stimpfig this is a lowcost airline. They already offer flights to America for a cheap price so you cannot expect them to pour you a glass of champagne. The purpose of a lowcost airline is to get you from point A to B for a cheap price.
