- Checking out my Bogner 3534. We have a look at all 3 channels with sound samples of each. I love this amp, to my ears it sounds thick, woody and chewy. The amp is a keeper for me.

Hi Guys, today I wanted to take my Bogner 3534 for a spin. The amp was recorded using a Grossmann Iso Cab (loaded with a v30) which was mic'd up using a blend of a Sennheiser 906 and a Shure SM 57. I used my Jackson PC1 with a Suhr Dough Aldridge bridge pickup and my parts caster guitar with Suhr v60 single coil. No Pedals were in the front apart from a Wah. I added a light seasoning of reverb, delay and compression in post. Clean 2:07 Blue Channel 3:45 Red Channel 5:30
I loved the Bogner Atma, with its more bright/chimy tones. But the Atma isn't great for gigs since so many of its settings involve swiches on the amp. I'm not a huge fan of the dark/woody bogner sound. But I wonder if this amp might be able get closer to that atma sound with the 3435's various voicing/presence settings for each channel. Likewise, I'd love for you to do another vid on this amp (or the new 50 watt version?) demonstrating the tone ranges of these various voice switches on each channel, along with turning the gain up/down for each voice Thanks for considering that. In the meantime, your thought?
Nice start to the demo with AIC.. have you still got the amp? How is the fx loop?
Thanks for the kind words man. I still have the amp, it is awesome. The FX loop is largely ok, a little bit noisy but nothing a gate can't sort out.
@@chasingtone2022 I need to listen to it again and compare to competitors... Have u tried the evh el34? Or any similar compact heads 50w or less? Looking for a compact head to take to band practices etc
@@asianaxeman Hey man, I haven't tried EVH. the only other amp I have around the 50w mark is a DT Line 6 50 - which is also a monster. I put my 3534 up against a 100 Randall rm100 which is a beast of an amp and the Bogner didn't sounds 'smaller' or lacking in anyway. This was through my recording rig (iso cab). The Bogner is a little beast - its small and not heavy at all. I hope you find the right amp for you man.
I heard that clean riff start playing and my brain said "is that Alice in Chains?" Now I'm trying to wrack my sleep deprived brain to see if I remember which song.
