One of the best demos of the Helios/Eclipse in CZcams. I'm interested in getting a Helios 50. I don't need the extra gain from the Eclipse. I already got a Bogner Atma, Shiva, Goldfinger 54, Brixton and Ecstasy 101b. This is the last amp on my list. Its pretty much the history of Marshall in one box. Thanks for the very informative demo.

Sounds incredible! The 800 is still my favorite amp of all time but the Bogner sounds amazingly good. There’s something about the character of the Helios that hits me in the feels. It sounds like perfectly recorded Marshall tone right out of the box. Exceptional playing as always Euge!
This amp, IMO, is the hottest thing on the market. It's right there with the SLO. Both are worth ever dime. The percussive-ness (is that a word?) of that tone is unbelievable. Great demo Euge! I'm surprised you gave it back...lol.

I’m very partial to Bogner it sounds freaking amazing. The Marshall is very special BUT the Bogner was more 3D in the video. Another oooh my Goodness CRAZY killer video! BTW you are one of the reasons why I bought an ESP Eclipse. ✌🏻 I’d love to have your signature model but I’m sure it would be out of my price range.

Watched this video and a few others and was going to get reg helios 100 but bought the eclipse , only had it a few days and haven't really gotten to play it qlot but this weekend gonna mess with it alot ,,, can't wait ,
Some Badboys inspiration for sure in that intro riff. Great playing as always. Got to play a Helios with a Max Les Paul and a late 50's Les Paul Special at Emerald City Guitars, and it was freaking awesome. the Plexi channel was my favorite part of the amp.
Great review and comparison as always. I've always liked Bogner amps and it's no surprise that I like this one too. However, Bogner amps always seem to have a certain low midrange hump or smoothness that is apparently their signature sound...maybe too many little knobs and switches. That's great, but a good Marshall amp (especially like your "Bad Boy") sounds and probably feels more present in the mix. I don't mean presence...I mean that Marshall amps just standout more. The Helios is a great amp and would probably be my second choice after a good Marshall. Rock on!

In my opinion, this is the best Bogner on the market. I have it with the matching 4x12 and it's amazing. This and the Friedman jj100 are my two favorites, but I think the Bogner has something better in the power amp. There is more "Umph!".
Sonic whiplash is being a total Bogner fanboy (absolutely love my Ecstasy), you having me appreciating the wild animal characteristics of Marshalls, and then here you are with a Helios! Do you feel like you prefer the grunt, top-end chirp, and immediacy of the 800 over the thick sponginess of Bogners? I always found Bogners more pleasant to listen to but aren’t quite as in-your-face as Marshalls. Maybe the Helios is different. They’re both incredible, which is why I switch between the Ecstasy and the Silver Jubilee. Been loving your videos!
Hey Euge, great video, as always. Like you, I love JCM800/Jubilees with a Les Paul. When I plugged into the Eclipse it just was unbelievable- but then I plugged into a Friedman Dirty Shirley: and to me it even blew the Eclipse out of the water. If you can, check it out.

Everytime I hear a Bogner amp demo, I feel so good, it's smooth, it has this Bogner signature tone, and those amps have beautiful appearance.. this is definitely my favorite brand. I don’t use this set that much but sometimes when recording really downtuned [A or lower] rhythm gtrs instead of 12-60).

Not really since it’s pretty much an 800 but just a bit smoother version with a bit more gain on tap. And a separate clean channel which I actually like a lot. It’s very similar than on JCM2000 TSL which I mainly use when recording cleans.

Damn I thought Boger was a cheap brand but I confused it with Bugera. This amp costs 3200 euros. My shitty guitar playing does not justify that... But it sounds great.

Jube is kinda like a more versatile 800 2203 but not as aggressive so I’d choose Helios over Jube 😎💪.
