Not in the near future but give him a yr or 2 to make the octagon his home (distance, wrestling, defensive jits, etc...) and he will be the king of the place ! He might be the most elusive, smart, creative, fast (he's a big boi) and fast learner I've seen in my life (as a fighter...). Myself, I've been a ground fighter all my life (10 yrs of judo and no gi jits for the last 12yrs) but StyleBender is the most entertaining fighter I have ever seen! I hope to never miss a bout of his....even tho GSP will be my #1 fav fighter for life.

GSP is a good example of exeptional level change timing the Stylebender needs to prepare for because his long limbs wont help him if someone closes the distance like GSP and goes for a single td he is literaly unarmed and him beeing so tall makes his legs or arms wear out fast on the back defending. For a Stand Up guy it´s quite a challenge to be good on the ground if you take any grappler for instance they just need to adapt some front kicks to create space and a stiff jab as a fast closer like GSP to be very dangerous. Adesanya need his Gracie more Royce and he is good to go

Wished there were good quality fighters like back in the k-1 days of 90's and 2000's. Israel would be perfect, he is more suited to standup fighting than MMA .
Eades is incredibly tough, but Israel is exceptional. The thing that separates Israel is his patience; that first round was meticulous and methodical, drawing forth the naked kicks from Eades to sap Jamie's energy and get his timing, before dismantling him in the last two.
I think Jamie Eades wasn't enough competition to make "The Last Style Bender" go fully into "Avatar Mode", so by the last round he was mostly human again, and didn't continue to really destroy him. "Styles" took it easier on him the last round because it became unnecessary to embarrass him anymore, that's why he touched gloves that round, which he wouldn't have done if he was up against a real threat. Israel Adesanya showed best in this tournament why he calls himself "The Last Style Bender". It is almost comical to see the flood of emotions going through his opponents when they can't figure out if this nice guy is pretending to be mean, or if this mean guy was pretending to be nice before, but now he wants to kill them. They always look so relieved when he turns out to be an honestly nice guy with great acting skills.
and just catching some background before izzy v costa tomorrow. Three heavy weight fights in one night.. I've seen enough. Costa not going to be bringing anything new to the table. After the first five minutes Its going to be the Izzy Precision technician lesson class is in session till Costa can't defend himself anymore or has a nap. It's going to be hard for costa to hold those big arms up when he's got nothing left in the tank after round 1. The first five minutes will be very exciting though.

its not easy fighting a grappler or leg kicker- each time you expect a leg kick, they punch, and when you expect a puch , they attack the leg-same also a grabbler
well apparently people hate what they dont understand. these guys already said it best, it depends on the fighter. i will add that it also depends on the moments. with all that said...there are bad coaches out there who say this kind of shit instead of having advice for adjustments and this is also very bad for the fighter
