Izzys take down defense is extremely underrated! The way he broke down costa mentally was brilliant, he’s not just the next mcgregor he’s way better, I don’t think there’s any mma fighter any class the matches his striking with his take down defense! He’s one of those mma fighters that come around once every 10-20 years! He beat costa before they entered the cage!
Mcgregor is B tier, always has been. The psychological game drove his successes massively. Imagine him fighting Aldo in 2022, he'd be torn to shreds. The way he climbed the ranks made him seem unstoppable and his confidence did the same. Khabib made the guy look like an amateur and frankly, so did Nate Diaz.

He was clearly showboating. It was right after landing a shot and he also put his hands behind his head like he was relaxing. What guy gets dropped with liver shots and then exposes their body completely. You curl up almost every time to protect your organs.
