      The US gov't travel advisory board recently warned people against travelling to China 🇨🇳
      I believe the warning still applies today.
      China is supposed to be a very dangerous place.
      In fact, not just the country, but Chinese things are also a danger to people.
      I just read an article on MedicalNewsToday that suggests green tea is potentially bad for your health.
      And the article blamed Tiktok for the growing popularity of green tea and other bad Chinese things in the West!!!
      So the country is bad, the people are bad, green tea is bad, and even tiktok is bad. So anything Chinese is bad.
      So I don't expect the US gov't travel advisory warning against travels to China to be lifted any time soon since everything is so horrible.

    In fact, it is rare to see police officers in China. The uniformed personnel you generally see on the streets are usually security guards, traffic coordinators, and auxiliary police. They are not police officers. Most of the surveillance cameras on the streets are for monitoring traffic violations. These cameras are used to capture instances of speeding, illegal lane changes, honking, etc. Security checks in subways and high-speed trains are implemented to prevent bad actors from carrying knives, flammable, or explosive materials onto trains, ensuring the safety of passengers. In the end, I can only say that we are all ordinary people; no one is really paying attention to what we are doing. All these measures are in place to prevent bad things from happening, and I think that's a good thing.Why Chinese girls can go out to eat barbecue in the late at night, but Indian girls dare not go out on the streets? This is because of security. Even in US, women don’t dare to go out on the streets late at night.

    Hey Gabi! Welcome to China. I have lived here for 10 years and over the last few years the amount of foreigners here has dropped massively, so I am not surprised that you haven't seen many foreigners. I live in Nanjing, but right now I am staying with my mother and father-in-law in Yangzhou. Yangzhou is a wonderful city with the whole downtown being unique compared to most Chinese cities because there are no high rises and there is about a square mile at the center of the city that is still traditional alleys - It is a very unique experience for that reason. If you travel to other Chinese cities you will notice that they are almost indistinguishable from each other because of all the malls and major squares. At the beginning of your video, I thought you were in Guangzhou because many spots in Chengdu really look similar to what the downtown of Guangzhou or even Shanghai look like. Enjoy your time in China!

      I was born in 1987 in a small village in inland China. My family's house was made of mud. That year my grandfather used electric light for the first time. My father bought a "Peony" color television set in 1991. The world is always changing, isn't it?

    • @nuo.not1033
      @nuo.not1033 Před měsícem +1

      @@enzos711 In terms of material life, there is little difference. Now China's first-tier cities and fifth-tier cities enjoy no difference in the convenience of life, only less road width and high-rise buildings in infrastructure, but compared with big cities, there is a big difference in employment, income, consumption, personal development, and the gap between rich and poor in China is also large. There is no difference in the quality of life enjoyed by a big city with a monthly income of 10,000 CNY and a consumption of 5,000 CNY compared with a small city with a monthly income of 3,000 CNY and a consumption of 1,500 CNY.
      So some of my elders who lived in small villages went to work in big cities for 20-30 years and then chose to retire back to small villages, build a good house and enter old age, and now I am doing the same.
