Exactly what I needed. Replaced everything except fuel lines and breather. Installed new tank plug and lines. Figured out the breather line going into the tank was too long and it was sucking gas instead of air. Pulled air breather out until just a nub was sticking in the tank. Eureka! Runs better than it has in a long time. Thanks for the vid!!
glad i could help!
I'm most impressed you did almost everything one handed. 👍🙂. Good video
Thank you 😁
Awesome video ,couldn't figure how to replace gasket ,thanks stay safe
Thanks, you too!
Hey, thanks for the video. I replaced mine. However, placed the white clip behind the metal plate with the screws. It gets full throttle that way without bogging. However, the filter cap would not screw back on. So, I unscrewed the metal plate with the two screws. Then, I flipped the white clip above the metal plate. The trimmer bogged down when I adjusted the white clip. Next, I put the white clip back behind the metal plate, and it got full throttle again without bogging. However, I can't get the air filter housing to screw back on.
white choke arm is hitting the plate. take plate off flip it over and straighten it out where the center can stick out further.
@@smallengineguys thanks. I'll try it.
@@Twerp70 also the choke arm will not work without the air filter. the screw goes to far in and holds it closed or open.
@@smallengineguys Ok, thank you sir.
I found out what I did wrong. I put the metal plate on backwards. Therefore the choke was not working properly.
