Piece of advice from someone who used to be in your situation - young, single, studying languages and no idea what to do with my life: Whatever you feel like you want to do, just do it. It will never again be as easy as it is now. If you want to live in Seville or somewhere else abroad for a couple of years after you graduate, just do it. Get yourself an internship, do another degree at a university abroad, take a gap year, or just work as a teacher at a language school. Just do it. You will regret it if you don't. I know I do. I always wanted to live in the UK for a while, especially after my exchange semester in Edinburgh, but somehow I ended up with a 9-to-5 job, a husband and family members getting older and needing my help. Now it's too late to move abroad without any major life changes, and every time I visit the UK now, which is (or was, pre-pandemic) fairly often, I regret it so much and I get so sad when I have to leave.

I'm 29 and let me just say that being single in your 20s and being able to just take advantage of all the random opportunities that life presents you with because you aren't accountable to anyone besides yourself is actually a wonderful kind of freedom that in hindsight I am SO glad that I had. I know it can be kind of daunting to feel like you could literally be ANYWHERE in 5 years ( actually still feel that way tbh), but it's also exciting and beautiful!! Obviously it's natural to kind of think about what life would be like with a partner, but my advice to you is to enjoy this unique time in your life where you answer to no one and can just go wherever the wind takes you!

I'm also an absolute "slow burner" when it comes to romantic feelings (and/or sexual attraction)! 22 and never been in love or wanted to be with a specific person. You could absolutely make a video about this, I think it would help many people to feel okay about it. I'd recommend that you look into the terms aromantic and demiromantic!

I relate so much to what you said about dating. The one person I really fell for was a friend who I got to know over months before anything ever happened romantically. With dating however, there is an expectation to move much faster! I have had multiple people ask me to stay over on the first date but for me, it's difficult to develop feelings after only just meeting someone

Honestly i am the same when it comes to romance like i am so happy in my own company that I could not be bothered to leave it or have it be disturbed for someone that is not perfect for me. Luckily by god's grace I found one but I am just like that too and on topic of slow burn it took me almost a year to get with my boyfriend so like it's fine. You will find the person you are meant to be with - enjoy your life till then. It will happen when it's supposed to happen. Also like because I think we are so similar in this aspect I don't think you will ever be the person that will have many boyfriends because you will weed them out like crazy but the one that you do choose will be long term husband material so don't worry about it

Omg I can strongly relate to being incapable of being in a relationship 😂 I had dating apps at uni but one boy treated me horribly and knew I wouldn’t be living in my uni city after graduation so deleted my apps - now I somehow get boys in my insta DMs and usually within the first few messages I get the ick 😂🙃 I’m 22 and really don’t want a relationship right now and that’s ok!! We literally have our whole lives to be with someone so I’m not gunna rush it especially in our 20s people move around so much/circumstances change!

Can I ask if you got to choose your specific internship or did you just make an application profile and companies sift through applications and pick the ones the want? Glad your enjoying Spain, you lucky duck! 😁

its not a ''problem'' to be comfortable with your own company and prefer to be alone and single. Its sad how society conditions us to think we need to be in a couple or there is 'something wrong with us''. Some people are happier single and that's fine. Be an individual and do what you want, don't let society brainwash you. I have been single my whole life, have been in love once but it was with my married straight lecturer, and I am still In love with her so ye lol

Which factors to consider when choosing a country? Should I take politics into consideration? For example, the UK seems like a good place to study politics as well as for tertiary education in general due to short course durations without sacrificing quality and cheaper tuition fees than in the US. However, the political situation seems quite uncertain thanks to Brexit and the possibility of Scotland leaving the UK though this seems unlikely at the moment (according to polls/Boris). The UK also ranks "low" in terms of freedom of the press (33 rsf ranking) should such things also be taken into consideration? Those tory wankers seem a bit dodgy, this is a reeeaaallyyy far fetched/hugely exaggerated, but I mean one doesn't wanna get deported midst degree, do you? Besides, the current immigration rules/policies aren't really welcoming either. Should you support a government (with taxes etc.) that doesn't seem to want you there in the first place and "destroyed" a bunch of lives (ppl. who had to move due to Brexit) including your friend's life, a friend who is so British that their first actions were complaining, banter, politely joining a queue and getting some naan bread ffs? On the other hand is missing out on a good education, pubs, banter, Tesco, legit Asian takeaway and an interesting time abroad worth it just because of the points mentioned above? Sry for the rant, just had to get this off my mind to focus on more important things atm...
    TLDR:
Should you take (bad) politics into consideration when moving abroad?
PS: Nice to hear you enjoyed your life in Germany, most Germans don't

I'm not going to say you are, but I think you'd find the terms asexual/aromatic useful, or at least consider if you are on the spectrum, like demi or gray.
