Every Christmas, I thought the cartoon movies like Grandma got ran over by a Reindeer, Rudolph, the Grinch were my favorite movies to watch during Christmas or even The Nightmare before Christmas (which is a Halloween favorite of mine tho)....but when I read and watched the Polar Express.....the music and just how the animation looks....i just absolutely love it....

I remember I found a movie perfect for christmas called The Polar Express. It was underrated. The best movie who taught me to believe. It was a very wonderful movie. Every christmas I always watch this movie❤️🎄🎅

When I was little I was scared of this movie (I don't know why), but listening the main song like this makes me want to see it again.

I was only nervous about the puppet scene when the hobo was being an asshole...................I still don't get that scene....
But non the less it's a Christmas classic in my book. :)

I love this song too. It's so beautiful and full of hope. I sang it one year in choir and it's really nostalgic.
The reason that it scared you as a kid is probably something called The Uncanny Valley. It's when something that isn't human looks or acts too much like a human. The Polar Express is the number one example of this because of the high frame rate and because they used motion capture to animate the people. You might have already known that since it's been 3 years but I like sharing knowledge. Also there was a weird scene on top of the train with that hobo ghost that's pretty creepy.
I came across this while going through your other great pieces and I swear the way you played this song literally gave me goosebumps. Love your work!
